I’m bringing you an abundance of Christmas gift guides this week to showcase some of my favourite picks, brands and money-saving sets!
I am feeling festive AF right now. Christmas has well and truly kicked in for us @ home, the tree is up and I’m loving see everyone else’s fun and festivities. Anything to make this tough time a *little* bit brighter, easier and happier then that’s a big YES from me!
First up in my gift guide bonanza…..a selection of best beauty under £50.
OPI Shine Bright Advent Calendar (£65.90)
Ok so advents are supposed to be opened from the 1st December I know, but I honestly find them a really good gift anytime of the festive period, even to open up all 25 on Christmas day (the dream!). This is a really cute advent, loaded with all out favourites from O.P.I and contains ALL the polishes you want and don’t know you even need yet! I’m actually opening this as one of my advents and loving it so far.
Emma Hardie Luxury Collection (£40)
We ALL need a bit of Emma Hardie this Christmas to bring us a bit of joy and this luxury set is an absolute beauty. Anything with *that* cleanser is has my vote and this is a 50ml size which will see you through many-a-months. Along with the cleanser, it also has a 15ml size of the Midas Touch Revitalising Cream (incredible for stressed winter skin!) and a 30ml Brilliance Facial Oil which again, is a real treat for this time of the year. Also included is one of their fabulous cleansing cloths and a cute Emma Hardie travel bag to keep all your treats in. This set is worth over £88 so you get an incredible 50% off and it’s worth a treat to yourself if you have no one to buy it for!
Bareminerals Warmth Eye + Cheek Palette (£32)
I’m absolutely loving what Bareminerals have done this year with their fully recycled and recyclable packaging. It’s all pre-wrapped essentially, in the packaging it comes in and ready to gift without having to wrap it again. What a fab idea! I’d love to see this going forward with other brands.
Packaging aside, Bareminerals always serve us with some incredible limited edition sets and products and I’m loving the Warmth Eye + Cheek Palette which is inspired by their best-selling Warmth all-over face colour and it combines this glorious bronzing powder with 4 nudey-warm-smokey talc-free eyeshadows. LOVE!
Tropic Your Best Skin Bauble (£28)
Tropic is a new favourite brand of mine and I’m really enjoying their skincare, body care AND makeup. It’s rare that a brand do all the beauty so well across the board like this. They have a great selection of cute Christmas sets this year with prices ranging from £18 to £98 so something for everyone and I think this Tropic You Best Skin Bauble is so sweet and has my favourite Super Greens serum in it too! Alongside the wonderous green oil of joy (!) is the Glow Berry Brightening Serum, the Clear Skies cleansing powder, Skin Feast face cream and a small cloth! PERFECT. The bauble packaging can actually be used as a Christmas tree bauble too if you want to have some fun with it.
Marc Jacobs Oui Mon Cherry Set (£40)
I’ve raved about the Marc Jacobs Very Merry Cherry Collection a LOT this year as I think the packaging is just so cute and I think any makeup lover will love a bit of this under the Christmas tree or in their stocking. The Oui Mon Cherry Set has a cute cherry red makeup bag, a full-size lip oil and miniatures of the Velvet Noir mascara, Dew Drops liquid highlighter and the glorious O!Mega bronzer. Cuteeeee.
Ole Henriksen Bring Radiance Back Set (£29)
Not strictly a Christmas set as such but I think a great gift none-the-less. Instagram babes have been going wild for Ole Henriksen in 2020 and it seems to be one of the must-have skincare brands of the moment. I love their vitamin C range and this little duo has both the Banana Bright Primer and the Goodnight Glow Cream in generous try-before-you-buy sizes. This is all about brightening and GLOW and I think a lot of us may need this kinda skincare vibe in our lives after the car wreck of 2020 amirite?! A great price too coming in at £29.
Vera Wang Princess Eau De Toilette (from £26.80)
There is *something* about the Vera Wang packaging that I love and find it a really well-received fragrance for gifting. It’s not overpowering either which is why I find that most people like this soft fruity and floral scent. It has notes of sweet apple, mandarin, water lily, vanilla and amber. I think a lot of teens seem to like this too so could be a good first-time-scent for the younger crew and also for the die-hard Vera Wang fans! Prices start from just £26.80 for a 30ml size over at Look Fantastic at the moment.
