Pixi on-the-glow Bronzers.

Pixi have recently launched brand new on-the-glow bronzers and here is all the lowdown on them. I’m a huge fan of their incredible on-the-glow blushers (shade Fleur for the win!) so I was really excited when these appeared on my doorstep. I got sent two shades (they do 4) which are the Softglow and the Warmglow.

The texture of these is very dewy and glowy : and they give you a subtle tint of colour. They aren’t as heavily pigmented as some stick bronzers, these are more solid skin tints for natural flushes and glow. These will be GREAT for summer skin and holiday skin enhancers when you are feeling more confident with less makeup and want your skin to really show through. I say this as I find wearing anything this glossy over heavy foundation can bring the base off a bit – these work BEST over a tinted moisturiser, very lightweight bases in my opinion.

‘Tinted moisture sticks…’

These are skincare and hydration-infused makeup. They contain antioxidants, vitamins, various oils, Aloe Vera, ginseng and fruit extracts. They can be worn both on the cheeks and on the lips. Definitely a makeup item for touch-ups, dewy skin, minimal makeup, skin enhancement and barely there colour.

These are twist-up, swipe-on sticks of colour which make them really easy and quick to apply. They are quite large in the actual size of product that hits your face but you can turn them sideways to hit less surface of the skin or use a fingertip from product to skin if that suits you better. I like to personally swipe them straight on from the stick and dab in with my fingertips – you can’t go too wrong with them! I also just give them a wipe when needed to keep them clean.

The Pixi on-the-glow SoftGlow is a very light bronze sheen – I would liken this more to a highlighter. Unless you are very pale this won’t ‘bronze’ so much just add a touch of sun kissed glow. It’s very pretty and would also look really lovely applied on the body : collarbones, decollate, legs etc. A bronze-highlight hybrid.

The Pixi on-the glow Warmglow is a slightly peach-bronze tone – not far off a gentle blusher actually. Again, it is subtle in its payoff and will give a very gentle glow and colour.

From looking online at the other 2 shades which I don’t have as yet : they look a little warmer. There is the RichGlow and the Beachglow . These look more suited to warmer skin tones or simply if you want a more high impact shade of bronze on the skin.

The Pixi on-the-glow bronzers cost £18 and are available now from pixibeauty.co.uk and also Sephora UK.
