These are the long awaited, skincare infused concealers from NARS, launching in the UK March (ish) 2013. There was whispers of these over blogs and magazine websites during New York Fashion week SS13 as the NARS pro makeup teams were using them backstage. Not much longer to wait!!  They are the consistency that I love, more of a creamy liquid, which is very different to their existing ‘stick formula’ concealers which are great for redness/blemishes, but really not great for use around the eye unless blended in with skincare.

The new radiant creamy concealers are a botanical blend infused with magnolia bark extract, grape seed and vitamin E so will help the skins’ texture and look as they conceal. I think this is a huge thing since last year, consumers want more from their makeup than just a colour. They also have brightening mineral pigments in them, hence the radiant-like finish. I, personally would use these as an under eye and blemish/ face concealer, as I love multi-purpose…but if you need a more heavy coverage, use the old stick formula. I would say they are a medium / but definitely build able coverage.

The packaging is the same as their larger than life lipgloss, but with a sponge tip applicator, which I favour over sticks as you can get more precise concealing and dot and blend easily under they eyes.

For those ingredient savvy people, these are also formulated without parabens, fragrance or alcohol. These would be great for more mature ladies as well as younger peeps. Another great thing to note is that these come in TEN shades so will definitely suit any skin tone, another thing I love about NARS makeup. I also hear from many girls that they can never find pale enough shades…this is super porcelain so would be suitable for you fair-skinned ladies.

I don’t know the price of these yet but I would guesstimate at around £18-£20.
