Say hello to the new Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar palette. It’s a good ‘un. I am a huge fan/stalker of Too Faced products and my recent trip to America made me even more of a fan as I got to preview some products that aren’t out here yet and got to see the full brand in all it’s sweet glory. Not only is it ‘pretty makeup’ aka it is packaged absolutely beautifully and the names etc are enticing, but the actual stuff inside is REALLY GOOD.
The latest launch into their chocolate range is a follow-up from the best-selling Chocolate Bar Palette with the Semi-Sweet version. Not only does it also contain 16 cocoa-rich (and chocolate-smelling) gorgeous shades, but I actually prefer this one to the original…and I REALLY like the original. The semi-sweet palette has a really good blend of warm browns, caramels, deep mochas with flashes of intense colour and in both matte and shimmer finishes. I can literally wear every colour and I would say that anyone can find a combination in this palette that will suit them…for any occasion. One of my favourite palettes ever.
If you have blue/green eyes like myself, then you will love these shades, the slightly warmer/red tones will really make the colour stand out. You also have the pop of blueberry and a few cooler tones too to mix it up for any eye colour.
The pigment is rich , soft and blend able, and the wear is really good. I always dab a touch of the Too Faced Primer on first to ensure a complete crease and budge-proof all day wear.
