Festival Makeup & Party Makeup | Glam Glitter

This is the another summer festival look I have created for my blog to hopefully give you huys some ideas and inspiration. This is the more intricate, glam and time-consuming so more suited to those who want to look super glam, have reasonable makeup skill and love a dramatic eye look. It’s also super easy to tailor this look to your eye colour and skin tone to suit you.

I would say this look is more suited to Ibiza nights out, Daytime Festivals, pool parties, Vegas and other glam occasions that call for you to look and feel your most glam! (Seriously have you BEEN to those pool parties in Vegas?!…this look is tame AF)

SKIN:  is a little more *done* and perfected here than the first look with a nice full base using my new favourite the Makeup Forever Ultra HD stick foundation. I just purchased this last week and I have legit been using it EVERY day since. Easy, quick, beautiful finish * great coverage = LOVE. I added some contour , bronze, and highlighted with the gorgeous Becca Jaclyn Hill Champagne Palette. When you apply quite a heavy base like this, DEFO take the powder in your handbag for touch-ups as you will get shiney and with a warmer heat & the makeup will slide more. I have used the Laura Mercier Translucent powder, but for handbags & holidays, take a pressed version to save spillage.

EYES:  This look is ALL about the eyes. I have done a soft cut crease with glitter on the eyelid and swept out to elongate the eyes ; A full impact and glam look. I used warm golds and copper tones as these work really well on my blue eyes. Tailor the shades to suit you.

Above the brows I have added some gold crystals (which I picked up from a craft shop) using lash adhesive. I used quite a few different MAC pigments & glitters which are all listed below.

LIPS : With a warm golden eye, you can pretty much get away with ANY lip colour that takes your fancy. Here I have teamed it with a bright pink from Makeup Atelier Paris, and then I also tried it with a softer nude/coral which is the new Urban Decay VICE lipstick in ‘Unicorn’. I think I prefer a softer lip with such a strong eye, but it’s just personal preference.
