Too Faced Melted Matte Lipsticks : Some of the best liquid and longwear lip colours on the market.

So. A throwback. I went to the UK launch of these way back whennnnnnnn. It was maybe 8 years ago…we went cocktail making in Shoreditch, it was amazing, I staggered home with a bag full of gorgeous Too Faced makeup and it was the first time I had tried the Melted liquid lipsticks. Since they they have fancied up the packing and the formula has been improved for sure and they are simply some of the best liquid lipsticks on the market.

The Too Faced Melted Matte Lip colours stay on INCREDIBLY! I’ve seen a lot of people talking about these and how they are mask-proof lip colour and they absolutely are. These will stay on at the rave on Saturday until brunch on Sunday (pre-2020) and they are stunning formulas.

As with any liquid lipstick these apply wet and dry pretty quickly to a super matte finish. You can prep the lips with a light touch a balm if you get dry lips but for me, these still have that balance of being super matte and long wear yet they still feel comfortable.

The shades they do are beautiful and they currently do 22 shades I have 3 of the newer shades: Nasty girl (pure red), Social Fatigue (peachy brown) and My Type (a brown nude). They are all really wearable and gorgeous and tbh, that Nasty Girl red is one of my favourites! It’s such a pure, bold red and looks stunning on with a smokey eye or even something more neutral.

The Too Faced Melted mattes cost £19, but of course with Black Friday creeping in this week, there are deals to be had everywhere and so keep your eyes out where they get the best % off. I know my Look Fantastic 20% off code should work against them which is LAURA_LF if you are tempted.

What are your go-to long wear lip colours? Are you still into the liquid lipstick vibe?
