Calming and soothing vibes all around please.
These couldn’t have landed on my doorstep at a better time. I am a big fan of of the Jurlique Rose products and in particularly these two cult classics ; the Rose hand cream and their beautiful rosewater mist.
Jurlique do limited edition packaging for both of these iconic beauties every year. I feel like I say this most times they introduce their limited edition packaging but I honestly think this year it’s hands down the prettiest I’ve seen. Botanical illustrations by renowned artist Adriana Picker, petal pink hues and gorgeous colours : YES PLEASE.
The Rosewater Balancing Mist Intense deluxe edition comes in the gorgeous flower-illustrated box, which I’m thinking of any which way to keep / re-use / up-cycle and it’s also in a deluxe limited edition 200ml size. The petal pink glass bottle is just beautiful and honestly it’s also a great saving as you are paying £49 for 200ml and the normal 100ml is £32!
If you are unfamiliar with this rosewater mist, I’m going to tell you why I love it and have for SO many years. First up : the simple little things….it sprays really well. One of the best and most finest spray mists around. It dispenses perfectly every time, no spitting and it’s the perfect full-full amount with one spray. It also smells incredible : not overpowering rose or too overly scented and fake-smelling, this smells juicy, sweet and light.
Now onto the more important things : what is actually does. Rosewater does great things for the skin : it soothes, hydrates, calms and balances. It’ll leave your skin feeling fresh, nourished and softened and it’s also GREAT for on-the-go hydrations bursts, refreshing your makeup and I also love it for a step under your serum in your skincare regime. Rose is truly one of nature’s wonder ingredients and I am a huge fan.
The Rose Luxe Edition Hand Cream is a 125ml size (£35) and has a slightly fancier packaging with a rose gold lid and details and of course *that* gorgeous box. Jurlique do the best hand creams money can buy and I’ve said it for years. They are so incredibly nourishing, they never leave hands feeling greasy and they are paced full of botanicals, flower extracts and goodness.
The Rose hand cream is their signature and again, like the face mist, it’s not an overpowering rose…it’s therapeutic, it’s relaxing and most of all….it gives even the most driest and chapped hands a new lease of life. If you haven’t tried it before and are tempted, they also do a smaller handbag-friendly 40ml size.
Both of these products are such a treat to the skin, something that I think is so useful and much-needed at the moment : little pockets of calm and self-care. They are also the most perfect gifts and I can’t count the number of times I have given these as presents to my friends and family.
Have you tried either of these two iconic rose products? What do you think of the packaging this year?
