This is the latest product to launch from Caudalie skincare, and one that I am pretty excited about. I love a face oil. I love a serum. Combine these, and I think it will be a lengthy and loving relationship. Co-Founder of Caudalie skincare, Mathilde Thomas, created the elixir to offer women a new beauty ritual from sustainable origin to ‘enhance and transform the skin’.
The Caudalie Premier Cru Elixir* combines a cocktail of potent anti-ageing ingredients in an exquisite formula that is a hybrid oil and serum. In a nutshell, this is designed to transform & restructure the skin, brighten dark spots/age spots, smooth wrinkles and firm the skin. Better still, this product is clinically proven to make the skin look younger. I would say this is probably for those 30yrs + depending on how advanced your skin is into it’s ageing process.
These youth-inducing ingredients include the patented ‘Caudalie Three‘ all derived from the grape :
– Reservatrol : Anti-wrinkle/firming
– Vinerferine : Brightening/radiance
– Polyphenols : Powerful antioxidants
Alongside this, FIVE precious anti-ageing oils:
– Sandalwood oil: Rich in omega 7, this soothes and smooths the skin

The unique texture of part oil, part serum is really beautiful and light on the skin, with no oily residue and it seems to absorb quicker than my usual ‘face oils’ which I like. The texture is more watery than oily ; like a rich gel toner almost, so it’s nice and lightweight and quick to sink into the skin. It can be used like your normal serum so AM/PM underneath your moisturiser.
