Brand new from Fragrance house Roger & Gallet is this Eau De Parfum from their best-selling Fleur De Figuier range. It’s one the of the most gorgeous freshest summery scents that I own and I have worn it for a good few years now…this is just an amped up version that lasts longer on the skin and has a higher concentration of oils.
Fleur De Figuier Eau De Parfum encompasses both the fruit & flower of the fig so has a very fresh, sweet and subtle scent. I don’t get on with very sweet and fruity floral fragrances but this is balanced out really well with notes of musk & patchouli so it isn’t sickly sweet. The fragrance is inspired by an evening walk in the glorious Mediterranean gardens of Esterel. Think balmy sunsets, fresh evening breezes, white linen amongst sun-ripened figs.
The packaging is really classic and pretty, and would look nice on any boudoir’s dressing table. Even for an EDP, this is still quite a light fragrance but stays on well and a few squirts in the AM will see me through the day. It’s quite a relaxing scent and one that is pretty appealing to everyone. Fig is a very fresh and slightly sweet smell.
I find Roger & Gallet fragrances really great value for money and this costs just £27 for 50ml at FeelUnique at the moment, which is 33% off!
Do you have a go-to summer fragrance? I love this one or the Tom Ford Neroli Portofino whilst the sun has his hat on.
