So here’s a little secret ; I used to work for Benefit Cosmetics and I helped to launch the ORIGINAL Georgia powder way back in 2005-ish! It’s no longer with us in the original form but this is the RE-VAMPED version ; still peachy but with a hint of glow.
The Benefit Georgia Blusher is a pale peach-golden tone, which I’ve tried to show off in the photos ; it has a very subtle flush of colour if you are wearing it solo so perhaps better as a blush on paler skins BUT for me, it’s almost more of a finishing glow/highlighter kinda vibe. I am swishing it over the Benefit Galifornia blush for that ultimate coral flush and it’s a beauty!
Like the original formula, this has that peachy smell to it (so nostalgic for me!) and it comes housed in that oh-so-famous benefit box with brush and mirror within. As I mentioned, it’s a very sheer formula / wash of colour, so don’t think it’s going to come out the colour it looks in the box as it’s that mix of subtle pigment and glow….almost a rose gold tone and it’s also very pretty on the eyes.
This is available on LookFantastic and is £27 but if you are quick, you can use my 20% off discount code to grab it for £21.60. The code is LAURA_LF and this is valid until 28th February, 2020.
Let’s talk Benefit blushers : which is your all-time favourite? I definitely have a soft spot for the Galifornia and the Dandelion – I’m so glad to see this is still around as a lot of them have been discontinued like the original Georgia. I would love the see a come-back of the 10 too (split bronze/blush glow) too as that was super pretty.
