HELLO! I know I have been posting much on here, but I wanted to just to share my super quick, easy, no-fuss no-makeup makeup look that I have just done on my IGTV. With the lockdown situation here in the UK I asked on my Instagram if there was anything makeup or beauty-wise I could do and a few people wanted to see my see my daily/quick makeup. Well here it is!
I think around 10 makeup products, only 2 brushes and it takes me less than 10 minutes. Perfect for being at home, but wanting to look and feel a little put together.
Her is the 3-minute tutorial below so do check it out if you have a moment >>
Products used:
Elemis Pro-Collagen Spray* This is really new to me. I had literally NEVER tried Elemis skincare until just a couple of weeks ago and this is the first thing I have tried. IT’S INCREDIBLE, and so so perfect for when you are feeling a little stressed, like you need a boost and a surge of goodness on your skin.
Antipodes Kiwi Seed Gold luminous eye cream* This and the face gel below are again, really new to me so I can’t review them for you right now. First impressions : this face cream is really beautiful and something I know I will be finishing up. I love a lightweight gel-cream and this is probably the lightest I have used. Oily/combo skins will love and perfect for the upcoming warmer weather.
Antipodes Baptise Water-Gel Cream* (as above!)
Alpha H Liquid Gold Rose Perfect & Plump treatment* I got sent this beautiful lip treat before Christmas and I have been using it a lot. A good alternative to the By Terry Baume de Rose and it’s a really lovely, deeply nourishing and plumping lip treatment too. It has a pale, petal-pink hue that I love wearing over the top of my lip tints as in the tutorial.
By Terry CC Lumi-Serum shade 01. I have 3 out of 4 shades of this illuminating skincare serum/makeup primer/ all rounder. I love it under and in makeup for a really dewy and fresh look and feel and it’s perfect when you want to lighten up the coverage of your base : just mix this in half and half with your foundation to make it into a really lovely tinted moisturiser.
Perricone MD No Makeup Foundation* I have used these for around 6/7 years now and I really love them for a lightweight but feel-good base that’s infused with some serious skincare. I’m a little concerned to see the shade ranges looking mainly sold out and I’m really hoping it’s because they are discontinuing them.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Always a favourite of mine, you can’t go wrong with this nifty concealer : eyes, face and anywhere in between.
Benefit Hoola contour stick (used more as a bronzer) I love layering cream products when I’m in a hurry, I find it just really quick…plus no brushes! This is a contour stick essentially but the colour is perfect for a really natural sun-kissed bronzer, I find it too warm for a contour.
Benefit Go Go tint (cheeks and lips!) I got this little sample from who-knows-where but I started using it recently on my little staycation trip to North Devon as it’s so small and handy for travel makeup. The shade is super bright so such a little is needed and it’s perfect on both my lips and cheeks. I think I’ll be indulging in the full size once this has run out!
Julienne Brow Pomade* A great (and cheaper!) alternative to the ABH Dipbrow. This is a really easy-to-use brow pomade and when used with a nice sharp liner brush, it gives you really natural-looking hairs and perfectly fluffy brows. I find the texture not as dry as the ABH so I don’t have to mix it with anything to get the texture I want.
Too Faced BTS Liquid Eyeliner* This has a really nice fine nib and gives a super precise and jet-black application. This is my go-to for when I want super tight-line to my lashes for a natural flick / eyeliner look.
Armani Brown Eyeliner (now disc. I’ve linked a similar below!) THIS IS LITERALLY ABOUT 1CM IN LENGTH NOW! I’m so sad about it. I love this beautiful brown, smudgy liner and I’m on the hunt for a replacement. I think the DIOR one could be the one, as long as it has a little smudger sponge which makes application and blending so quick!
Maybelline Lash Sensational. Have been a fan for many years now and this is my most-purchased drugstore mascara.
Please let em know what you think or head over to my Instagram to leave me some feedback there, I’ll be doing some more wearable and easy looks over the next few weeks. Lots of people have requested a quick smokey-eye and an eyeliner tutorial so that will be coming soon too.
