Anyone else feeling their hands and cuticles are a little weather-ravaged at the moment? Freezing weather, heating and the the continual going into the cold-hot-cold-hot plays havoc with the skin and it’s condition. I love a traditional British brand, and you can’t get much more so than Crabtree & Evelyn. Founded over 40 years ago with a shop that specialised in fine soaps, Crabtree & Evelyn is now an infamous wellness and bath and body brand inspired by nature, flowers & gardens. I remember my mum’s bathroom was full of Crabtree & Evelyn when I was younger and it’s so nostalgic for me.
The infamous hand therapy hand creams come in an array of blends and scents so there is something for everyone’s taste and hand needs. I particularly love the Rosewater, Tarocco Orange (my personal fave!) and the Avocado.
The award-winning Tarocco Orange is my favourite scent and texture of them all. If you like something fresh and fruity, neroli-like then this one could be for you! It is made with a rich blend of shea butter, macadamia nut oil & myrhh extract. I leaves my hands feeling super soft and nourishes without any greasy or sticky feeling. With my work as a makeup artist I am continuously using hand sanitising gels that can also dry the hands, so using the hand therapy afterwards really soothes.
It’s also a good option to try out some of the smaller sized for £6 and then you can go for the bigger, 100g sizes when you find a fave. I simply love the small tubes as they are both handbag and travel friendly, allowing me to slather them on constantly and on-the-go.
