February’s Birchbox see’s a collaboration with trendy British stationary brand PAPIER who designed 2 different box designs for subscribers. It’s the pull-out drawer type box that they have been providing us with for quite some months, which I really love as it’s perfect to re-use and store trinkets in.
Within the February Birchbox is the much-talked about full-size Spectrum brush. This was revealed in the last month’s hint so I knew this was coming and was excited to try as have never used the brand Spectrum before. It is a pretty rose gold and white brush with uber soft synthetic brush hair – a brush perfect for blending, concealer and eyeshadow. I LOVE THIS BRUSH!
Another exciting makeup thang comes in the form of a POP beauty eyeshadow trio. A good size (full-size shadows but the palette I believe normally contains 10 shadows as opposed to 3). This Champagne Mocha trio is super wearable, every day kinda nude tones – a pale highlight tone, a rose gold and a dark metallic brown.
There is a Beaver Professional conditioning spray (50ml – great size) which I have never used before, and I always need some kind of leave-in on my bleached hair so I will definitely be using this. Another hair product comes in the form of SHOW beauty Premiere Dry Shampoo. This is a decent 32g trial size and I am really excited to try this super glam haircare brand – I have been eyeing it up for so long and the packaging is beautiful!
It’s no surprise there is a sheet face mask as they are super popular at the moment with everyone seemingly bringing a version out. This is a full-size, one-use of the KEEOME hydration mask therapy, which is a luxurious (& I’ve heard fabulous) Korean skincare range and I am packing this away in my travel beauty which is when I tend to use these kind of easy, throw away and travel-friendly masks.
I’m really happy with this month’s box as all of the products are things I want to try, and finally…….a box where I have never had any of the products before or used! So all new things for me to try.
