GOSH Autumn Winter 2017 Collection : Nordic Magic.

GOSH are one of the makeup brands who do seasonal high street collections REALLY well. They continually bring out fabulous new products, with really fun and unique themes and they often bring out quite a handful of products for every collection.

The Nordic Magic Collection is the latest offering and is all the latest colors, hues and trends for AW17. There a a whole bunch of products and here are my top picks:

The Lumi Drops are one of my favourite products from GOSH and I use these a lot, the new season shades are ‘Rose Gold’ (obvi) & ‘Gold’ which I am loving. These are not overly shimmery and at the more subtle end of the highlight spectrum. I like to add them into my base just to give more glow.

This season’s 9 Shades Eyeshadow palette is called ‘To Party in London’. It is composed of beautiful coppers, gold and warm hues, which is obviously the look of the moment, with everyone and their aunt bringing out a warm-vibed palette. The finishes are all pearlescent and metallic with no mattes. I have swatched it on my arm above (Top L-R /Middle L-R / Bottom L-R).

There is a really handy Colour Corrector Kit which has 5 shades of cream correctors including a standard beige concealer, yellow, green, purple and peach. These, when used in combination with your usual concealer, can brighten the skin, reduce redness, erase dark circles and give the skin a wonderful and even finish. I think I will be getting a lot of use out of this as I like that is comes all in one handy palette.

I haven’t had a huge amount of luck with GOSH mascaras in the past but the new one ‘My Favourite Mascara‘ is seeming to work for me a lot better. It has a silicone wand that separates and lengthens really well and I can get good build-up/volume with 2-3 layers of this formula. It is also a tubing mascara which again, I really get one with as I find they stay on really well and don’t smudge. If you haven’t used a tubing mascara before (Kanebo & Kevyn Aucoin do cult ones) : they basically coat & protect the the lashes and to remove you simply rinse it off with 38 degree (or a little warmer) water and the formula comes off in lash-like strips.

Last up in my top picks is the beautiful Strobe ‘N Glow Kit. I have it in shade 001 which is the typical highlight kit including three golden shades and one pink-holographic tone that work really well together and all shades are also lovely on the eyes. They have a really soft and cream-powder formula that blend beautifully and give a subtle glow.

You can check out the bits I have mentioned here, plus even more items from the newest collection over on the GOSH website.

Have you tied anything from GOSH? Any favourites?
