The month of February always catches me out with those pesky 28-days. Once you blink and have eaten all your Valentines’ chocolates : you are immersed into the month of March and you don’t even know how you got there…just me?! I know it’s cliche but I really cannot believe we are into the THIRd month of 2022. What the HELL? I just feel like I haven’t started, I’m still in a bit of a house-moving wormhole which I hope to be out of *very* soon.
Anyway, waffling over, let’s get to some incredible beauty favourites. The products that I have been reaching for the most over the last month and I want to share with you why they need to possibly go on that long ol’ beauty shopping list of yours!
S K I N C A R E :
Fenty Skin Flash Nap Eye Cream : Took me a while to finally try this eye cream out and I’m really enjoying it as an AM eye cream. It has a light gel texture and it makes me eye area feel enlivened and bright. I also like the mini roller / applicator it comes with which gives that extra hit of cooling and de-puffing for when you really need it!
Ole Henriksen Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturiser : I have been using this for a month now as my ‘main’ face cream and it’s a very easy go-to. Texture is a melting cream to gel almost and it just isn’t disruptive or difficult with anything I use. You know when you just want an ‘easy’ cream that will always tick the boxes AND contains some great ingredients to benefit the skin including amino acids, peptides, niacinimide and hyaluronic acid. Medik8 Press & Glow Tonic : This has been on my *to-try* shelf for a few months and I’ve finally cracked it open. Honestly anything I have used from Medik8 has been pretty exceptional and this is no different. Their products just work : no fancy chat or packaging, just great performance-driven skincare. One of my favourite skincare brands. The Press & Glow is an everyday exfoliating tonic with PHA’s and prickly pear to gently resurface the skin. This is a more gentle alternative to AHA’s so perfect if you want something for everyday, gentle brightening and exfoliation before your skincare regime.

Medik8 Ultimate Recovery Bio cellulose Masks : I have mentioned this before on my Instagram a few times as these are SO very incredible. The best sheet-type-mask I have used and they REALLY make a difference. After I have slung one of these on my skin feels awake, hydrated, nourished and plump. These are a real special occasion prep treatment as they are expensive but great to have in your stash when you need a quick skin turnaround!

REN Protect & Glow Serum : LOVE pretty much everything I am trying from REN at the moment and their new launches have been absolutely brilliant, including this serum. This serum is powered by a trio of brightening fruit extracts, vitamin C and antioxidants and I’ve definitely seen and felt a difference when using it over the last few weeks.
Glow Recipe Plump Plump Hyaluronic Serum: I wasn’t sure if Glow Recipe was one of those brands that was too pretty to be good when I first saw it. The packaging is glorious, but the products I have used have also really impressive. This hyaluronic serum is brilliant and is my go-to at the moment for when my skin is parched, flakey and tight in the morning. I often layer this under the REN serum for a double whammy. It gives you really juicy, glowing skin and it’s one of my favourite hyaluronic acid serums!
Alpha-H Melting Moments Cleansing Balm : Back in stock now my friends! I am not surprised this has been sold out for a while as it really is a perfect cleansing balm and up there in my top 3 now. It’s flawless. Remove makeup really easily, has a wonderful texture, incredible smell and leaves skin feeling gorgeous and well cleansed. READ MY FULL REVIEW HERE.
Ciate London Disco Nap Lip Balm: I got this in the Hannah Martin Ciate kit and i think it’s brill. It’s just a lovely deeply hydrating lip balm that works instantly to soothe chapped and dry lips. Great as a pre-lipstick / liquid lipstick prep too although I seem to just wear it on it’s on to give a muted nudey lip.
Skinny Tan Face Tanning Wonder Drops : I love to use these once or twice a week under my face cream to give me a little bit of a glow on my face. They are a tanning-skincare-hybrid so it can be worn as your face serum, or you can mix it in with your existing skincare. Subtle but wonderful, and they also smell incredible!
MAKEUP:
I feel like we are having major blusher moments? Is it just me? So many incredible new launches and formulas, I can’t get enough! I’m so tempted by so much at the moment too : but I am trying to be super careful with my spending and how much makeup etc I have at a time. It can get a but much can’t it?! Yet, at the same time…. want it ALL!
Trinny London : A brand I have been re-introducing myself too over the last few months. One of my most popular blog posts ever is actually my initial review when I first tried Trinny London makeup a few years ago, you can read that HERE! As a whole, I’ve been loving trying the range, it sings to me, I understand it and I love pretty much everything about it : easy, creamy, fingers, quick AF and lovely shades. More reviews to come soon on my favourite shades and picks from Trinny London.
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer : An oldie but a goodie. I dug this up again and have been using it everyday as my all-over concealer. I find it particularly good under the eyes and it’s still one of my all-time favourite concealers for both my kit and myself. The colour range is fab. I’m currently wearing shade ‘Cannelle’.

BITE Beauty Change maker Foundation : I have a more in-depth review of this here. I’m a big fan of this base and I reach for it A LOT. This is my second tube. The shade ( ) is spot-on for me and it just feels so nice on the skin, not heavy and it just makes my skin look fresh and smooth. You can buy Bite Beauty over on Feel Unique.
PIXI + Rose Radiance Primer : This is a gorgeous, dewy brightening primer that delivers a hint of skin-lifting and lighting pink. It’s very hydrating and nourishing and feels great on the skin. I love a pearlescent primer just to perk up my skin before I apply foundation and this is just perfect : You can wear it under (over skincare) mix it in with your moisturiser and even mix a dollop in with your base = easy and effective!

Ole Henriksen Banana Bright Face Primer : A vitamin C illuminating face primer with banana powder-inspired pigments that delivers instant radiance while improving and extending makeup wear. As above…I love a product that gives a glow and helps your makeup stay on. This is another incredible skin-brightening primer.
YSL Lash Clash Mascara : This is my go-to mascara of the moment! REALLY loving this and think it’s incredible : gives incredible volume, depth and stays on all day with no budging or smudging. It has a HUGE wand and it really packs a punch on my sparse lashes. You can see it in action RIGHT HERE when I had a first try-on on my Instagram! Loving it even more now it’s been a couple of weeks.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Color : Lip and cheek colour that is easy, dewy and comes in 4 pretty shades. It’s buildable and blend-able and super creamy, I really love a cream blusher as you probably know and this is a slightly different formula from a lot I have. It’s not a tint or a gel, it feels almost like a lipstick…which I love! I have been enjoying shade ‘coral’.

Rose Inc Blush Divine Radiant Lip & Cheek Colour : This texture is divine! It’s a melting cream to powder finish and it blends seamlessly into the skin to impart that perfect rosy glow. I feel like I need all the shades! This has a slight blurring effect too so the finish is more of a velvet look. Can be worn on the lips also.
So that’s my round up of my beauty best! It’s ever-changing as I try out new makeup and skincare so keep your eyes peeled for next month’s picks. Spring is coming and that usually means a bit of a seasonal switch up of all beauty. Give me those sunnier days!
