Possibly one of the most lusted after launches of the year? Quite literally every makeup lover wants a piece of the new Too Faced Sweet Peach Collection and Twitter and Instagram pretty much blew up with the #TFSweetPeach tag of lusters, braggers, enablers and proud owners.
I have to agree with the hoards on this one ; this is genuinely the best and most exciting launch to come from Too Faced and I am loving pretty much everything from the range.
I was VERY lucky to be sent the Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette from the range, plus I have tried everything from the range on counter : those peachy glosses are next on my hit list as these are going to be perfect for summer.
Let’s focus back to the main event : *That* eyeshadow palette. The same as the best-selling chocolate bar palettes in packaging and layout, this contains 18 shades of beautiful buttery eyeshadows with differing finishes from matte, shimmer and satin. Shades are as expected : peachy, warm, coppery, pinks….and a couple of deep smokey purples thrown in for good measure. This is literally my dream palette for my blue eyes as these tones makes them pop…and totally the colours I wear daily. The only thing I would prefer if I was being picky : is if there was one bright orange matte tone in there for blending and using under to make the peachy hues a little brighter.
Similar to the Chocolate Bar palettes that smell of cocoa, this smells of peach and it’s just a nice little touch and puts a smile on my face every time I open it up.
My favourite colours ATM are 100% > Summer Yum < If they do this in a single, I’m a’ buyin’ it in bulk. This is a creamy but matte deep brown red tone that when applied goes more red than brown. Absolutely love. ‘Just Peachy’ is also a fave which is the signature peachy tone : almost a bit NARS orgasm-esque with it’s flashes of pink and gold through the metallic finish.
I like the metal packaging of the TF palettes as they keep everything within protected and safe : so good for travel and in my makeup kit if needed. Not gonna lie, I rarely take these off my dressing table as I don’t want to share but hey.
The hype is real and I’m 100% IN for this peach collection.
The Too Faced Sweet Peach collection isn’t going anywhere and is available online at Too Faced and also Debenham’s in the UK. I can only see that they will expand this range as it has been the biggest success of all their launches I would expect. MORE PEACH PLEASE!
What would you like to see from the Sweet Peach Collection if they launched more?! I would love some peachy lip & cheeks tints and maybe a peachy illuminating primer.
