Burberry Her Fragrance Review
This new Burberry women’s scent launched earlier this year and I want to introduce you to it and give you my review of this delicious scent! Burberry Her is a free-spirited fragrance for the modern woman. Laced with blooming peonies and blended with joyful and juicy green pear top notes enhanced with honeysuckle and rose, softened by an addictive woody base.
I have been wearing this for a few weeks now and it definitely is an interesting scent and one that I am really enjoying wearing. I haven’t tried a Burberry fragrance possibly since around 2006 so I was also intrigued to see where Burberry fragrances were now and if this would suit my scent taste.
A blooming peony scent blended with joyful and juicy green pear top notes with strawberry blackcurrant and pink peppercorn. Enhanced with a honeysuckle heart, with lily of the valley and rose, softened by an addictive musk and cedarwood base.
This comes in a really sleek and ‘clean’ looking bottle. It has a very simple and modern design and it feels luxurious at the same time. White lid with a gold trim and ‘Burberry’ embossed into the glass at the bottom of the bottle, giving it texture and style. On paper it is a Floral scent, with a touch of fruit and of course that slightly more woody bottom. Note are as follows :
TOP NOTES: Green Pear, Strawberry, Blackcurrant, Pink Peppercorn
HEART NOTES: Honeysuckle, Peony, Rose, Lily of the Valley
BASE NOTES: Musk, Cedarwood
It is definitely a floral fragrance but it isn’t overly sweet or strong : it has a softness to it and it’s fresh and vibrant. The base notes bring an elegant warmth to it which makes it feel grown up and modern. The scent lasts really well on me and I find it a perfect day-to-day scent. I like something probably a little headier in the evening but it’s a great light and fresh floral. The fresh note of pear definitely comes through but it really adds a delicate freshness to it and makes the scent interesting and different.
