You know already how much I have been swooning over this collection. If you don’t you didn’t catch my initial post, check it right here. The Bobbi Brown Camo Luxe Collection is new for AW18 and is quite literally my favourite collection of the year and this packaging is just something else = LOVE.
As we are just creeping into Autumn AKA my favourite time of the year AKA pumpkin-spice-latte-basic-bit*h time of the year I wanted to have a play with all the makeup and create a nice autumnal look using this collection. It’s been a while since I have worn a berry lip and a smoky eye, but I am so ready for the change, new tones and demi-matte skin.
For this look I used the Camo Luxe Eye & Cheek Palette, the beautiful luxe eyeshadow in shade ‘Jungle’, Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in ‘Cypress Ink’, A slick of their best-selling Smokey Eye Mascara, Skin Longwear Weightless foundation and a messy stain-like dab of the Crushed Lip Color in shade ‘Plum‘ ; a perfect autumnal lip.

I’m absolutely loving the khaki vibe at the moment, both for fashion and makeup trends and I think we will be seeing a lot of these tones coming through for Autumn 2018. We have been riding the warm-toned palettes and hues for most of this year and maybe it’s time for a re-fresh and change. I must admit, I was a little wary of these cooler tones from the palette on me as I am all about the copper tones BUT I really like the way it looks and it’s something I would not normally wear. It’s nice to step away from the comfort zone now and then and remember that other shades will work on your complexion ; I’ve been in my rut for quite some time now!
The Luxe Eyeshadow’s come in 2 shades and I have ‘Jungle’ which is this really interesting petrol-toned deep green with a multi-faceted touch of pink. I think it *could* be my favourite piece of the collection.
What are you thinking of this collection and the cooler-toned vibe? I keep saying it, but I genuinely think this is my favourite seasonal collection that Bobbi Brown have ever released and I am definitely going to be investing in some more from the range…also have you seen their new matte lipsticks?! They look so beautiful.
