The Look Fantastic Spring Edition beauty box is still available and I wanted to show you it’s contents and have a quick chat about it and the value as this is my FIRST ever Look Fantastic beauty box.
This month’s, April ‘Spring’ edition box gives you products to give you the ultimate at-home-pamper and it has 6 products within with a value of over £65. Look Fantastic has quickly become one of my go-to beauty shopping online destinations and I know they do so many great brands so I was expecting a really well-curated box.
What’s Inside.
The Vintage Cosmetics company tweezers (full-size / £8) Cutesy pink packaging. Standard slant tweezers.
Bella Pierre Peach Blossom Palette (full-size / £28.99) Love this. My star product as all the shades are so very me.
Starskin 100% Camellia 2-Step oil sheet mask (1 use / £9) Haven’t tried this brand before, have heard good things and I love the sound of it.
MineTan Coffee Scrub ( 1 use 30g) / worth £2)
Enzo Laszlo Hydraphel Skin Supplement (15ml / worth £5)
Amerliorate Transforming Body Lotion ( 30ml / worth £4)
For me, the star product has to be that Bella Pierre palette. I’ve definitely heard of this brand before and I’m *sure* I’ve had something from them in a beauty box, but this palette has such pretty shades and it’s one I will be using for sure. It says is an eyeshadow palette but this could totally be doubled up for the cheeks too.
I’m also really excited to try the Starskin mask as I haven’t tried or seen anything like it before. It’s always good to have some spare tweezers and the other bits, as always, I’ll be chucking in my travel sample stash to try as and when I go away (in this life or the next!).
Value for Money?
Now, on the website is does say this has a value of £65, but with my maths, I’m getting a value of £57 so I’m sticking with that.
Even with the £57 value it’s still a great saving and really good value. The only box I can compare it to for around this price point is the Birchbox and it seems definitely a little more luxe and product-heavy than that one.
I actually had no idea how much this box was and after I had opened it, seen all the products etc, I was thinking it would maybe be around the £20 mark. I was pleasantly surprised at the £15 price tag (one-off purchase inc. delivery), if you subscribe for a year it works out at £13 a box. There are different sign-up options so do check them out right here.
I also have a unique 10% discount code if you sign up to either a 6-month or a 12-month subscription so if you want to take advantage of that it’s LAURAFBB
