Axiology is a lip-focused beauty brand who are totally cruelty-free, ethical and transparent. Their lipstick formulas are the FIRST with just 10 ingredients and they do a whole host of finishes and shades to choose from with 36 shades in total.
The lipsticks are made up of just 10 natural + cruelty-free ingredients including organic coconut oil, kokum butter, avocado oil, grape seed oils, orange oil and elderberry extract.
I just wanted to share with you a couple of new lipsticks (+ swatches) that I got sent from Axiology recently. Serene is a beautiful and unique smokey lavender tone ; a new nude. The finish is a soft cream and it applies really well and feel super comfortable on the lips. Shade ‘Brave’ is the same finish ; a nice creamy formula, neither matte or overly glossy. This is a warm plum berry tone, it’s one that I would wear loads in the autumn with a burnt smokey eye but I think for the time Serene will be my go-to from them.
I wore ‘Serene’ in an Instagram picture a few weeks ago (above) and lots of people were commenting on the ‘shade and loving it. It’s super unusual and I literally have nothing quite like it in my huge stash of colours. I am wearing it with the Barry M Minx lipliner as an FYI as these two seem to be a match made in heaven!
The packing a really pretty ; it looks luxury and modern and comes in 100% recycled paper, handmade by women artisans in Bali. Cruelty-free, Peta certified, sweatshop free and certified organic. They donate some of the proceeds to help save orangutans. What is there not to like about this brand?!
The matte gold outer packaging is click-released which is kinda fancy and fun and inside it is a shiny gold metallic finish with branding.
