The NEW Liz Earle Glow Range.
I’m always excited when Liz Earle drop a new launch and this is possibly the *most* exciting for me YET. I am such a fan of the Cleanse & Glow cleanser that launched last year and they have now launched TWO more products to join the GLOW RANGE. YES! There is a Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic and the Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser.
They couldn’t have launched at a better time, with Spring knocking on our door : it’s time to de-clutter and re-fresh that skincare routine, get some vitamin C in your life, exfoliate that winter hibernation skin and start GLOWING! Also as a side-note, I absolutely LOVE this perfect peach-pink fresh packaging go the Liz Earle Glow range.
I have been using both of these new glow products for a couple of weeks now and can already tell a difference on the clarity and smoothness of my skin – I feel confident with absolutely no foundation on and I don’t say that very often! If you are wanting to re-fresh your skincare routine and are liking the sound of GLOW, SMOOTHING & RADIANCE then keep on reading..

Liz Earle Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser.
I’m quickly going to chat about the Cleanse & Glow Transforming Gel Cleanser as this will always be the first step of your Liz Earle GLOW routine! It’s one of my favourite products from Liz Earle and one of my favourite cleaners of all time.
It is The PERFECT companion to both of these new glow-getters and a great and easy cleanse to start your day. It has a clever transforming gel-milk texture that will splash off with just warm water (no cloth required!) but will really cleanse deeply and live skin feeling super fresh and bright. It contains black bee honey with is both antibacterial and soothing on the skin, Acerola cherry (packed with skin brightening vitamin C) and Elderberry oil which is rich in fatty acids and antioxidants. It’s a great all-rounder cleanser and is also a great PM cleanser that will remove makeup, SPF and daily build-up.
Liz Earle Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic.
A multi-benefit brightening toner to help cell turnover, even the appearance of the skin and give you that all-important glow.
A gentle yet effective exfoliating toner that can be used both day and night. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, this treatment will energise and revitalise the feel and look of your skin in under 30 seconds! I love this as a skin prep for the day as you get that instant gratification and feel on your skin. Makeup artists will love this also before applying makeup as it makes everything sit better on the skin.
It is powered by antioxidant-rich botanicals, prickly pear, acerola cherry and sea buckthorn.
Smoothing Prickly Pear – This is a gentle alternative to acid exfoliation and will give similar results to glycolic acid. Prickly pear gives both hydration and radiance to the skin.
Protective Sea Buckthorn – Rich in Vitamin A and antioxidants, this will brighten and protect the skin throughout the day.
Brightening Acerola Cherry – bursting with vitamin C to protect and brighten the skin.
How to use : Apply after your cleanser, both morning and night. Soak a re-usable pad/ cotton round with the tonic and sweep all over the face and neck. Follow with your serum and moisturiser.
What will an exfoliating tonic do for my skin?!
In short, it is a really key part of anyone’s skincare routine. Regular use can make skin clearer, brighter, less dull AND all your other skincare products you are using over the top will work more effectively. This is because they aren’t being applied onto layers of dry skin / dead skin cells. Serums will penetrate better and moisturiser will sit better on skin that has been gently and well exfoliated. You will also find makeup will apply better and foundation will last longer and look fresher. You know when you get those annoying flakey/cakey bits around your nose?!.. that won’t be so much of a problem anymore.
The Liz Earle Smooth & Glow Exfoliating Tonic, is a very good option if you are just trying an exfoliating/ brightening tonic for the first time and want to gently work up to stronger acids. Or if you have tried other brightening tonics before, perhaps with glycolic acid and you haven’t had great results or your skin has been red and reactive from it. The Liz Earle Smooth & Glow is a gentle but effective exfoliating tonic. ALL skin types can benefit from it.

Liz Earle Revitalise & Glow Iluminating Gel Moisturiser.
A lightweight, smoothing and dewy finish hydrator.
This illuminating gel moisturiser will brighten your complexion as you wear it, without any irritation and it’s suitable for even the most sensitive of skins. Your skin is quenched with moisture, pores appear refined and skin looks radiant. It’s abolsutely perfect for this time of year when Spring is knocking, we want moisturisers maybe to be a little lighter and fresher and we want to bare our best skin!
This contains the same 3 key ingredients as the exfoliating tonic so makes a really great power duo in brightening, hydrating and smoothing the skin. These key ingredients are :
Smoothing Prickly Pear – This is a gentle alternative to acid exfoliation and will give similar results to glycolic acid. Prickly pear gives both hydration and radiance to the skin.
Protective Sea Buckthorn – Rich in Vitamin A and antioxidants, this will brighten and protect the skin throughout the day.
Brightening Acerola Cherry – bursting with vitamin C to protect and brighten the skin.
What I love about this is the lovely lightweight texture and feel. It sinks into my skin really quickly BUT I can still feel that it is well nourished. It has a fresh Bergamot scent which I always love in my skincare : this is of course preference but I do like a little scent in my lotions and potions. I find it invigorating and it just gives me a little more joy to use.
How to use : I cleanse, tonic, serum, and then apply the Revitalise & Glow Illuminating Gel Moisturiser, followed by my SPF. You can use this moisturiser both day and night – for me it’s my daytime moisturiser as I feel like it’s so lightweight fresh and dewy. I tend to use an oil or a more sumptuous cream for the PM.

In summary, the Liz Earle Glow range is a very simple but effective trio of products that pretty much anyone and everyone can slip into their routine one way or another. I would really recommend it if you are dipping your toe into glow exfoliators for the first time as a gentle route in OR perhaps you have used stronger acids such as glycolic and have not reacted well. The key exfoliating ingredient in the tonic and moisturiser is Prickly Pewar which is a really effective yet gentle skin brightener and exfoliator. It gives similar results to glycolic acid but definitely is a lot more gentle and skin-kind.
I ALWAYS, always ask people if they are using an exfoliating tonic or acids when they ask me for advice on dull skin – it’s honestly on the first things to consider and can make such a huge difference in your skin and how all your other skincare products are working over the top. GET THAT EXFOLIATING TONIC IN YOUR LIFE!
The moisturiser is lightweight, nourishing and off, course will also give you that radiance and glow ; great for this time of year AND it is a beautiful makeup prep and primer!
