Tan + Makeup In-One! St Moriz Ultra Finish Skin Perfecting Tancealer.

St Moriz is a brand that is all about tanning, and although I seem to see this *everywhere* I have never actually tried any of their fake tans. I was sent this St Moriz Advanced Pro Formula Ultra Finish from them a while back and it’s only just only the last few weeks that I have had time or need to crack it open and give it a try. Mainly because my summer tan has vanished quicker than the season itself and I’m trying in vain to pretend it’s still holiday season : gimme that instant tan!

The St Moriz Ultra Finish is an instant tan, also described as a ‘tancealer’ as not only does it give that instant burst of colour, but it also smoothes and lightly conceals imperefecrions and evens the skintone: basically it’s a bit like an airbrush in a bottle. It doesn’t contain any DHA (fake tan active ingredient) so it’s a completely wash-off tan.

You can use this all over your body (I wouldn’t apply it on the face), and it’s definitely worth using the accompanying mitt for ease of application and to ensure a smooth and even finish. It’s a thick cream formula, and it dries pretty much instantly once applied. I got dressed straight away and went to a festival : It came off only a tiny bit on clothing, but it was an 18 hour day with lots of dancing, rain and rolling about, so this is totally expected and I’m happy with that.

This is classed almost as makeup as well as instant colour, in the fact that it evens and smooths the skin tone. I think this isn’t on a foundation level but it definitely does make the skin texture look better and reduces the look of redness and unevenness on the skin. I mainly like it on my arms and legs.

Side Note : it’s quite a deep colour, paler skins will need to be more light-handed OR mix a dollop of this in with a body cream for a more subtle finish. I am an adopted Essex girl, so this colour for me is perfect! don’t be put off by how dark it looks, it can be completely customised to how you like it to look

The St Moriz Advanced Pro Ultra Finish is available in loads of retailers, including Superdrug & Boots and is priced at £9.99 (although I’ve just spotted it here for £8.99 at the moment!).
