It’s not often that I’m this excited by a skincare range in it’s entirety, but the Perricone MD h2 Elemental Energy skincare range not only looks like it has arrived from the future but the technology is also very modern and innovative and I am generally impressed with all of the products I have tried. Perricone MD is a skincare brand that I only really started dipping into last year after falling in love with their ‘No Makeup Makeup’ line and it’s as every bit good as I had expected.
This is a hydrogen-charged skincare range that has been developed to activate and energise the surface skin cells by transforming cellular energy AND delivering a powerful boost of hydration to the skin. It’s an innovative range and I don’t know many other brands that are working with hydrogen within skincare and it’s certainly the first time I have tried it.

Hydrogen is a basic molecule and it is also the smallest. The H2 Energy Complex which is the key component to this entire range is powered by hydrogen therefore it can rapidly penetrate the layers of skin. Think of it as an efficient delivery system to push the products into your skin. Have a lost you yet?! I’m going to run through the individual products below and why they are fabulous.

So in a nutshell, this range is energising, rejuvenating, hydrating, refreshing and brightening. It is targeted towards a normal-dry skin and all of the textures have been made lightweight, serum-like for rapid absorption. Also = GREAT for summer.
H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating Cloud Cream
My absolute favourite product of the range! It is lightweight/ airy in texture and feels so cooling and soothing once applied. My skin feels instantly enlivened and plump but with ZERO heaviness, oily residue or greasy feels. Makeup Artists : You know where is always *that* wondrous face cream that all your clients love/ask after and want to purchase after you have applied it to their skin : this is that cream.
Not only does it have this indescribable, fluffy texture, but it contains the signature H2 Energy Complex (rapid hydration), Red Microalgae (protects and sooths) and Humectants that attract water and hold it in the skin.
H2 Elemental Energy Hydrating Booster Serum
An intense hit of rapidly-absorbing hydration targeted towards dehydrated skins that are lacklustre, thirsty and dull. This serum can be used into any existing skincare regime that needs a little more deep hydration. It contains Fermented Yeast Filtrate (improves elasticity) and Hyaluronic Acid to optimise the skin’s water balance. This serum is fragrance free and is also great for a sensitive skin.
H2 Elemental Energy De-Puffing Eye Gel
Hands up if you get sore, puffy & tired eyes more than ever this time of the year?! This is one of the best eye serums that I have tried for instantly cooling and de-puffing the under eye area. It absorbs into the skin super quick and without a trace so is perfect underneath makeup. Oat Kernel Extract gives immediate lifting and soothing effects, Diffusion Pigments blur fine lines and brighten, anti-ageing Peptides help longterm smoothness of the skin.
H2 Elemental Energy Firming Foam Mask
Now onto the weekly treatment. This is a mask that is perfect pre-party or occasion. That ‘red-carpet-prep’ for some who are lucky enough to go to those type of fancy things. It is an instantly tightening, lifting and firming mask. This is one of those face masks that looks like a gel but when it comes in contain with your skin, it will activate and start to foam up. Leave it on for 10 minutes and splash off with warm water and hey presto you are almost 10 years younger! > ok, your skin just looks really smooth and feels wonderful. A great mask if you are going out, you want to turn your skin around quickly and haven’t got time for a facial.
