NEW Clinique Superprimers.

New from Clinique are these 6 tinted super-perfecting skin primers. They are oil-free, lightweight and blur away imperfections, lines and pores in one sweep. Out of the 6 shades, one is ‘Universal’ (white tube) which is colourless and suitable for any skin tones and doesn’t contain the tint/colour correctors like the others. Each tone was created by clever people in white coats using the theory of colour science which will neutralise the undesirable tone on your skin and make foundations look their true shade.

The shades:

White: ‘Universal’ no tint or colour correction.

Yellow: Corrects redness

Pink: Corrects dullness & gives radiance

Peach: Corrects pigmentation/ scarring and dark spots

Bronze: For deeper skintones to correct ashiness & dullness

Lavender: Corrects sallow skin

You can use these primers on their own simply as a skin perfector or under any liquid, cream or even powder foundation. I tried the pink superprimer* as I am always looking for extra glow and radiance on my skin. It is really, really good on smoothing the skin and blurring open pores; it left my skin looking bright and foundation applies perfectly over the top. I am combination/oily and open-pored and I think I am the ideal customer for these primers.

On dry skin, I’m not so sure how it would be as it leaves the skin quite matte. I think the yellow one will be a best-seller for Clinique as a lot of people I see/clients suffer from redness on the skin.

£20 for a 30ml tube and this launches on counters nationwide from the 6th September but are available now from Selfridges online.
