French Pharmacy skincare favourites, Caudalie have just launched a trio of tinted lip balms and for just £10 a pop, you need at least one of these in yo’ life! The French Kiss lip balms have a really lovely rich texture that apply like butter on the lips and impart a really natural hint of colour.
The 3 shades are Innocence which is my favourite and the palest of the 3 : a really soft and natural pastel pink. For a bit more of colour then the ‘Seduction’ is that perfect natural rosy lip colour and ‘Addiction’ is a slightly deeper berry shade. These are perfect for winter, when our lips can get a little more drier and flakey and I honestly have not taken the Innocence shade out of my handbag since I got it a few weeks ago.
I really like the way they have packaged them with a wooden lid which I think reflects the natural ingredients of the balm and the Caudalie ethos. Ingredients include Aloe Vera, Beeswax, Polyphenols (antioxidants), Castor & Sunflower oils. They also, no joke, taste/smell like chocolate to me and they are really addictive. They are quite a hard formula to touch, but I quite like this as they don’t go all gooey and messy. Just warm it up a little with the fingertips and they apply beautifully.
