This is such an infamous and cult cleanser which I ONLY got to try for the first time a couple of weeks ago as I got a deluxe sample size in my Harpers Bazaar Birchbox.
I can’t believe I have waited this long to try it as I absolutely loved it from the moment I tried it. It made my skin feel enlivened and removed all traces of grime and makeup and it also has that lovely (is it eucalyptus?!) fresh and herbal scent to it. I am a convert already and I will share my full review and thoughts on this cleanser soon.
I’m excited to also share with you this new, limited edition version of the original hot cloth cleanser ; Orange Flower & Chamomile*. Not only does it have the prettiest packaging your eyes ever did see, but the added ingredients of, yep you’ve guessed it, Orange Flower Water and English Camomile give it a delicate and floral summery scent. This, as the original cleanser, is suitable for ALL skintypes and ages and I am using it as my PM cleanser in place of my typical oil-based balm. Absolutely fine for eye makeup/face makeup removal in one sweep and the Liz Earle muslin cloths act as a light exfoliant when you remove the product. What also surprised me was the price of this, I was expecting it to be on par with maybe Emma Hardie (around £45 / 100ml once you get the cloths) / Shu Uemura cleansing oil (around £28 for 150ml) or maybe Eve Lom (£55 for 100ml & cloths = £67) but this 150ml tube of hot cloth cleanser costs just £19.75 and that includes 2 cloths. I mean I don’t want to sound like a bad car salesman here, but that really is an amazing price for a high-quality cleansing product like this. I’m excited by it, can you tell?!
