GOSH Liquid Matte Lips : Review & Lip Swatches.

Sorry for the overkill of *those* popular blog topics this week : Another product that seems to be all over the place at the moment is the brand new GOSH Liquid Matte Lips. These launched a few weeks ago alongside their Spring Summer 2017 Collection, as and always with GOSH ; there is A LOT of new things. These, for me, are the stand out product so I wanted to focus on these and tell you why I like them.

I featured these in my February favourites both on this blog and over on my You Tube channel where I was wearing them. They have launched 8 shades ranging from the nudes, pinks and then some bolder shades. I would like to think they will soon increase this range of shades as I think we can assume that liquid lip colours & the matte lip trend AIN’T GOIN’ NOWHERE.

The GOSH Matte Liquid Lips apply like a really thick gloss and saturate the lips quickly and easily with colour. They apply easily with the wand and you can get a decent lip line by utiltising the wand to get a sharper shape if you so wish. They aren’t that quick to dry and leave the lips comfortable, as in, they don’t go tight, claggy or feel like you have been wandering the Sahara for 3 days & nights.

Everyone states they have a liquid lipstick that ‘doesn’t dry’ but these genuinely do not. Even after an hour of wear you can still feel that they are dry, but not *dry-dry* if that even makes sense. > To my next point, which I found out AS I was wearing them in my February Favourites vid >shameless link< they DO transfer a little. As in, because they aren’t fully dry formulas, and a little more creamy, you will get a little transfer if you drink, kiss, touch them etc etc. For me, not a deal breaker, as I would rather this than a really dry, cracked lip colour.

I only have three of the shades so I have swatched them in their full glory here for you both on my skin & lips. My favourite shade is the 001 Candyfloss which is a muted dusky rose.

I didn’t even realise until just now that they contain lip-plumping ingredients including Dandelion & ‘LiPerfection‘, whatever that may be. I haven’t heard of these as being ‘lip plumpers’ before and I did not notice any difference in the volume and plumpness of my lips when I have been wearing these, but will be interested to know if these have worked in that way on anyone else?

A thumbs up from me for the liquid lips, and they are up there in the top 3 of the budget high street liquid lip colours for sure. Absolutely worth a try and a reasonable price @ £8.99. Available to buy from Superdrug.
