Hello! I have just uploaded this up on my IGTV , but it is a much-requested and SUPER popular eye look from clients so I wanted to do a quick how-to on here as well and talk you through the step-by-step and the key products to get this Smokey Rose Gold Halo Eye makeup look.

It’s relatively easy to achieve this kind of look ; with one decent eye palette, some shimmer and lots of blending and a bit of patience. These kind of tones work for pretty much ANY outfit you could ever wear and it’s great for all kinds of occasions.

A quick note on the palette I used : the Urban Decay Born To Run eyeshadow palette…. it’s one I had forgotten about and dug up again recently but I must say it’s one of THE best and most versatile eye palettes I have. The mix of colours, the blend of mattes and shimmer shadows and the pigment is nice and strong. One to consider if you want a really good all-round palette.

Step-by-Step:

1.) Prime the eyelid so you have a nice smooth and even canvas to work on.

2.) Grab your palette and work in the dark matte brown into the inner and outer corners, almost in large dots, with the outer winging out slightly to give a flattering eye shape.

3.) Blend out and smoke.

4.) Blend across some warmer tones across the socket to give a nice shape, leave the lid in the centre clean.

5.) Under the lash line, use the deep brown matte on the inner and outer corner, again leaving the middle bare.

6.) Apply a beige/pale tone into the centre of the lid to make the flesh tone pop even brighter.

7.) Apply the Stila Rose Gold Retro (or similar) into the middle of the lid and blend out softly. Also dab on the lower lash line in the centre.

8.) Use a dark brown or black kohl liner on the lower lash line, avoiding the centre but making sure it graduates nicely.

9.) Black liquid eyeliner on top to create a neat and prominent feline flick.

10.) Curl lashes, mascara, false eyelashes.
