I am SO excited by the new (ish) makeup from Dr Perricone ; The No Makeup Skincare range has been recently revamped, repackaged and updated and I am literally liking/loving the ENTIRE range. I have always been a big fan of the No Foundation Foundation which I have used for maybe 3 years now and am so thrilled that the rest of the range lives up to my expectations.
The packaging is a little bit gorgeous. With a slight lab-like feel, this makeup is housed in a mix of glass bottles and typical makeup packaging with some interesting application methods thrown in such as pipettes which come with the foundations, serums and bronzer. I really like the way it looks…very apothecary-style and is perhaps to remind you that this isn’t just your normal makeup, but amped up with big dollops of his skincare throughout.
In the below photos I have done my entire face using just Dr Perricone makeup (ok bar eyebrows) and I think you will agree the results are natural, fresh and just great for a simple day-to-day look. Not only does it look like you are wearing *nothing* and you are just naturally GORG (!) but it sits on the skin like air and feels like skincare…absolutely no makeup feel at all and that’s one of the things I really like about this range.
I still prep my skin with my normal gazillion-product skincare routine as I still think of this as makeup…it still contains pigment, so stick to your usual serum/moisturiser to prep your skin before. Below I have used the no makeup makeup foundation (shade 2), the concealer, bronzer, blusher, lipstick and the mascara. I’m not exaggerating when I say I like ALL of these products. Which is the first. This never happens. Sometimes I may like a couple out of a range of makeup but this all gets the thumbs up AND I wear every single item….and often.
No Makeup Skincare range:
No Foundation Foundation. A gorgeous light hybrid of makeup and skincare. A natural finish and feel, this has a radiant and slowing/dewy finish on the skin. SPF30. Smooths wrinkles and pores with key ingredient Alpha Lipoic acid and corrects undertones. Comes in 2 shades.
NoFoundation Foundation Serum. The only item I don’t personally have (braggy much?….soz). This is a lighter-weight version of my beloved foundation and has a semi-matt finish as opposed to dewy like the foundation. SPF30. Helps to firm the skin and minimise wrinkles and pores. Weightless and breathable second-skin texture.
No Concealer Concealer. Key ingredient Vitamin C Ester brightens and diffuses imperfections, whilst SPF35 protects the delicate under eye area. Can be used as a highlighter, primer and to conceal redness and blemishes. This has a gorgeous whipped-mousse like texture and blends in seamlessly into my skin. Fortunately this shade suits me but only comes in 1 so not for everyone.
No Bronzer Bronzer. Again, this contains Vitamin C Ester to brighten the skin and SPF30 protection. This is a fluid/liquid bronze that gives a sheer hue of warmth to the skin where applied. It can suit most skin tones as it can be applied lightly to give a hint of colour or layered up to give stronger warmth and colour. Pipette applicator for ease. I drop it straight onto my foundation brush and buff onto the skin ; cheeks, nose and lightly onto the forehead.
No Blusher Blusher. Contains DMAE which is one of Dr. Perricone’s signature skincare ingredients to help plump and lift the skin. As all the other products, this also contains SPF30 protection. This has a unique serum-like texture and is applied with the sponge applicator (like a lipgloss) straight onto the cheeks for an instant hint of pink flush. Really love this shade!
No Lipstick Lipstick. Contains neuropeptides to restore and regenerate the lip contour, along with SPF15 to protect. This is a tinted lip balm type product with a really gorgeous natural rosy pink tint. Will suit EVERYONE!
No Mascara Mascara. This has neuropeptides & Biotin to help with lash growth and condition. A 2-in-1 lash treatment and mascara which is clinically proven to give you longer and thicker lashes. I knew I would like this before I even tried it because it has a nice-looking silicone wand which I find always works for me to give great separation & natural fluttery lashes. It is a deep brown shade for that ultimate no makeup look and I quite often opt for a brown anyway. LOVE!
Prices range from £25-£45 so sits right in the high end bracket and deservedly so.. this is next-level makeup infused with skincare ; or skincare infused with makeup.
Have you tried anything from Dr. Perricone skincare yet? I have used a few mini samples of some of their face creams and I love the Face finishing moisturiser and Nutritive cleanser.
