BEAUTY NEWS | Peter Thomas Roth launches into Selfridges.

EXCITING BEAUTY NEWS!! Cutting-edge skincare brand Peter Thomas Roth has just launched into Selfridges Beauty Hall (errrr like my favourite place to beauty/makeup shop in the whole world) and will exclusively be available here for the foreseeable.  I remember way back it used to be in Space NK like 10 years + ago but has been long gone from our shelves and I am really happy to see it’s return a store in the UK. FYI you can get PTR online at Cult Beauty & Look Fantastic but Selfridges is the only ‘physical’ stockist.

The brand is known for it’s award-winning and cult face masks that can combat any skin woes from dryness, dullness, sensitivity and breakouts. Each mask has it’s own unique formula and key product that will target the aforementioned problem or skin concern. My personal favourite and possibly the most famous : the hero product ‘Pumpkin Enzyme Mask’. This is a powerful resurfacing and revitalising treatment and key ingredient pumpkin enzymes remove dead skin cells and brightens and smooths the skin. It also contains AHA’s to aid in this exfoliating action and aluminium oxide crystals act as a gentle physical skin buffer ; a triple-pronged attack on dull skin. Another thing about this mask ; the smell. It smells like pumpkin and cinnamon and it has a lovely warming aroma…..kind like a yankee candle but nice….meow. If you have ever used the amazing Kate Somerville Exfolikate, the smell reminds me very much of that.

The masks can be used in conjuction with each other, layered, mask-mapped etc simply depending on your skin and it’s needs. I am using the pumpkin mask once a week, the rose mask whenever my skin feels sensitive or ravaged by the cold weather. I am yet to use the Cucumber Gel mask but I am keeping this on lockdown for the summer as I think this will be a perfect post-sun/ holiday soothing treatment.

Aside from these sassy-looking masks, Peter Thomas Roth do a full-line of skincare with cutting-edge technology that combines the finest quality ingredients and results driven formulas. Do check it out in in the beauty hall when you are next in Selfridges, I am hoping they have the travel set of all the masks which I have picked up before in Sephora which is a great way to try them all out to see what works for you. I also have my beady eye on the Black Moor Mud mask and the 24K Gold mask.

Have you tried Peter Thomas Roth yet?
