Know a makeup junkie who need a fix this Christmas?! Well here is my hand-picked guide of some INCREDIBLE ideas that you can buy for that makeup obsessed friend / relative / person. Prices from £20 to £74 there is something here for anyone and any age!
Most of these aren’t specific Chrsitmas products or sets either, just a bunch of stuff that I really love and think others will. So if you don’t need it for Christmas, it could work for birthdays or other occasions too.
Marc Jacobs (Under)Cover Perfecting Coconut Primer (£33)
A colourless and gorgeous primer that leaves your skin silky smooth and prepped for any makeup. Marc Jacobs also have an incredible Christmas collection this year called Very Merry Cherry if you want to go for something more festive!
IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream (£32)
The ultimate CC cream! This is a fuller coverage foundation so don’t be fooled thinking this is a tinted moisturiser-type product! I don’t know anyone who has tried this and hasn’t loved it.
Bobbi Brown Luxe Lipstick (£29)
There’s just something about the Bobbi Brown gold luxey packaging that I love and these lipsticks have a beautiful texture and finish. I love the shade ‘Mauve Over’.
Marc Jacobs At Lash’d mascara (£25)
Another gorgeous product from Marc Jacobs that I have been using loads this year. They do mascaras SO damn well. This is a lengthening and curl formula – perfect for daytime fluttery lashes.
BECCA x Barbie Ferreira Prismatic palette (£39)
WOW! How stunning is this packaging?! I love this collaboration and BECCA are one of the best brands when it comes to highlighters. This is a designated highlighter / shimmer palette with multiple tones that you can wear all over the face / body / eyes and will suit all skin tones.
Urban Decay All Nighter Ultra Glow (£26)
The UD setting spray is SUCH a classic and any makeup lover will probably have this in the stash. The newer glowy formula is more up my street and is great for any dew-lover who wants to look brighter and less matte and flat!
NARS Afterglow lipbalm (£23)
I love these and I’ve now just purchased my second! Tinted lip balms but done really well : the buttery formulas, the payoff, the shades and of course……the glorious packaging!
Nudestix Stiletto lip + cheek (£20)
One of THE best matte red lip colours that money can buy! It’s SO perfect, bright and looks stunning on anyone I’ve ever put it on. A proper pure red. The formula is long wear and matte and the jumbo pencil allows you to use it as lipliner too to get a really perfect lip contour. Can be worn on the cheeks too!
Urban Decay Stoned Vibes Palette (£46)
Possibly on the THE best eyeshadow palettes that launched in 2020?! I think so. This is an incredible palette – the colours are interested, the formulas are INSANE with their multi-faceted shimmery pigment and you can create so many stunning looks from this one palette from nudey smokes to stunning peacock blue!
Pat McGrath Mthershp Celestial Eyeshadow Palette(£74)
Ok this was my Black Friday treat to myself. I have been lusting after PMG makeup for SO very long but it’s so damn pricey. However this palette is cheaper in comparison to the rest of them (around £110?!) AND I got it for 20% off so it was a no-brainer. As incredible as everyone had told me. I want and need more! Any makeup fanatic will be absolutely blown away by any Pat McGrath makeup tbh.
Hoola Bronzer (£22.95)
An absolute classic bronzer and now they have multiple shades for all skin tones so you have more choice! I love the fact these are matte, have a little application brush and mirror….super cute and functional!
Benefit Hoola Bronzing Brush (£21)f
….and to accompany the above if you so wish! I purchased this for myself so many years ago and I just love it – it’s pretty, it’s fun and actually the tapered shape makes for a very good powder bronzer brush.
Bareminerals Lashtopia Mascara (£21)
One of my favourite mascara discoveries this year! It’s an incredible fluffy brush that makes lashes perfect and full without clumping or mess.
Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face Highlighter (£26)
Grown up glow! This is a lovely ethereal wash of highlight that isn’t TOO sparkly or shimmery. Perfect for wearing as base, mixing in with your skincare or foundation or even dapped over the top to finish your makeup.
Rubis Tweezers (£21.50)
THE best tweezers that man can make. I’ve been using these for around 10 years now and honestly, they are so good. Sharp AF, last an age and they do lots of fancy colours if you so wish.
Stila Magnificent Metals (£23)
The original and best metallic liquid shadows. Super easy to apply, great payoff and shimmer and they stay on perfectly.
