Roccabox June 2020 : Unboxing, review and value.

*This post contains a PR sample*

Hello everyone. I just wanted to show you the contents and my thoughts on the June Roccabox. It’s been a sweet time since I’ve had a Roccabox so it was a nice surprise to be re-introduced. This month’s theme is all about being ‘Selfie Ready’ and feeling your best and contains a nice selection of beauty for pampering and preening.

In this month’s box you get 6 products from full-size to sample size.

Eyeko Black Magic Liquid Eyeliner (full size / £16)

This month’s star of the show is this brilliant eyeliner from Eyeko, one I have actually used for many years – I couldn’t believe there was a full-sized one in this box! Such a great deal and a great product. This liner has a super fine nib and is a great one for easy and precise application.

MAYY Velvet Hydro Matte Lipstick (full size / £25)

This is a brand I hadn’t heard of before, and I went to search out more information on their website which didn’t have *too* much on it. The packaging is cute, the shade I have ‘Tulip’ is a pretty matte nude peachy tone. It has a nice texture and a long wear. Not a shade I would wear but it’s one that will work for most!

Charles Worthington Diamond Shine Shampoo & Conditioner (75ml each / £4)

I haven’t used Charles Worthington for many years but always welcome travel-size haircare for trips away and trying out. Really good sizes for a week away.

BeautyPro Rejuvenating Collagen Sheet Mask ( 1 use / £4.95)

I always love a good mask and sheet masks seem to be VERY popular in the beauty boxes at the moment. This is a brand I have never heard of and this mask is promising to be a re-balancing, anti-ageing and hydrating treat infused with green tea extract. It’ll go into the pile to be used very soon!

Avant Supreme Hyaluronic Acid Anti-oxidising DUO Moisturiser (10ml / £20)

Ok so this is a brand I first discovered in another beauty box a few weeks ago and you may know my thoughts on it….still a bit confused! A brand I had never, ever heard of until it appearing in a beauty box and absolutely huge price points which for me aren’t reflecting in either the packaging or the ingredients. Still nice to try as a travel sample and from what I can see this will be a nice, soothing face cream.

So there we have it ; a nice selection of beauty including some makeup, some skincare and haircare. I definitely think the best product for me HAS to be that Eyeko liner. If you like that liner, it’s worth picking up this box just for that! The value for the box is around the £70 mark so for a £10 box….this is actually really, very good.

Roccabox provide different subscription services, or you can simply buy them monthly as and when you like the look of them. The 6 month-plus subscriptions you can save a little on, or the individual boxes as a one-off purchase cost £10 + £3.95 P&P.
