Makeup Atelier Paris is a professional makeup artist brand. The makeup is all really concentrated and pigmented as it is commonly used in film, TV & theatre where longevity is key. All of the products I have tried from this brand has been really top-notch quality and I am currently obsessing about their longwear lip colours hence why I am makeup crushin’ them.
The shades I have are Camelia, Raisin and Rose Choc and I love them all equally as if they were my children. It is a ‘typical’ liquid lipstick type packaging, similar to a lipgloss as the texture is quite liquid and you apply it with a wand. The colours go on really smoothly and you get a lot of colour VERY quickly. You can layer it up a couple of times to get a really high impact of pigment. Now the only problem may arise if you want a neat lipline but don’t have a steady hand as I have found that because they are SO pigmented, if you mess up a little, it’s going to show! If you have a similar lipline colour then maybe use this first to avoid the wobbly lip.
Once dried, these lip colours are not going anyway. As in, I struggle to get them off. Really. I don’t find these as drying as some, but obviously with anything that is as long wearing as this, the finish is going to be uber matte and they can look a little dry. That’s just the downside of having a lip colour that will stay on all day. If you have flakey/dry lips then you need to sort that out before you apply one of these pigments! You’ve gotta give your lips a little love before reaping the benefits of these types of lip stains.
Camelia Is a bright blue-toned barbie pink. Really bright and show-stopping and is the one I have been wearing the most at the moment. Rose choc is a beautiful hot fuchsia pink, I think this will be one of their more popular shades. Raisin is a very deep red/purple that is similar to MAC Cyber if you know that shade..it’s a proper don’t-fuck-with-me-bitch lip colour.
