I was so hyped to receive this in the post last week – I LOVE it when Emma Hardie brings out the limited edition 200ml sizes of her cult classic the Moringa Cleansing Balm, and this one is even more special as it’s a 10 year celebration limited edition featuring a pretty botanical design.
I have been using the Emma Hardie cleanser literally since the week it launched 10 years ago. Her range started with just a handful of products and since, it has expanded into a pretty big line of amazing skincare PLUS they recently launched their Light Cleansing Gel which you can read all about here if ya fancy.
I don’t say this lightly…..but this balm is quite literally THE best cleansing balm out there. It suits all skin types, it removes ALL of your makeup including heavy eye makeup / waterproof formulas, it smells absolutely incredible (the ultimate spa in a jar vibes) and is purifies and balances the skin perfectly.
Ingredients include moringa seed extract, wild sea fennel, vitamin E and essential oils of orange, neroli, mandarin, jasmine and rose (that’s THE scent!)
Not only can you use it for a cleanser but you this is a super versatile a multi-use balm ; you can use it as a face mask, on the body, on the lips, you can apply it onto the feet and put socks on for a deep moisture treatment, you can use it as a massage oil and many other ways.
When I get asked about the one skincare product that is a must-have? Always, always it’s the Emma Hardie Moringa Cleansing balm.
This limited edition 200g size costs £68 and it comes with a cloth and a pot of the rosehip seeds. A standard 100g pot of cleanser and a cloth costs £47 and you don’t get the rosehip seeds (worth £15) so it’s a incredible saving of £41!
I haven’t seen the rosehip exfoliating seeds for years….I actually didn’t know they still did these. They used to come in the box with the cleanser as standard and I just remember that they stopped this after a while and started selling them separately. They are dry seeds so you can literally just add them into the cleansing balm 1-2 times a week to add a bespoke exfoliating element to the cleanser, you can make it more or less exfoliating with the amount that you use. Such a great idea! (obviously if you are using the cleaner with the seeds please don’t use on the eye area!)
The Emma Hardie Cleansing Cloths are still the best out there in my opinion and they are the ONLY ones I buy for cleansing. They are dual-sided with one side being the softest, plushest microfibre so they literally draw out all the dirt and grime from the pores and the other side is muslin which had a soft brightening and exfoliating action. Wash ’em at 40 degrees, stack ’em high.
If you are a fan of this balm, I would definitely suggest grabbing a 200g size as and when they appear. I usually notice these bigger sizes around Christmas time and whether I need one or not, I will purchase for future use and money saving.
