Mulberry Handbag Serial Number Checker
Ok so you have probably landed right here if you are trying to work out if a Mulberry handbag is real or fake. Firstly I have written a couple of very in-depth posts about this and things you need to check for, including the serial numbers on Mulberry handbags.
In short there are 5 key things to look out for when checking if a Mulberry handbag is real or fake and these are :

Ok so it’s not as straight forward as it may seem : you cannot just tell if a Mulberry handbag is real from the Serial number alone as the fakes produced are updated all the time and they are becoming more and more clever and of course, using ‘real’ Mulberry Serial numbers. There is no serial number checker online for Mulberry handbags, unfortunately.
To gauge if the bag is real or fake you need to read my post here because you need to look at all areas not just the serial number.
To check the serial number, you need to locate the brass disc within your Mulberry handbag. This usually has the infamous tree symbol on it. There should be a serial number imprinted underneath it when you flip it up. Whilst you are doing this also check on the quality of the metal /brass and check the Mulberry symbol print on the disc also. This will also indicate if the bag is real or fake.

SIDE NOTE : Not ALL authentic Mulberry handbags will even have a serial number – some of the older styles do not. All the newer handbags do.
Common fake serial numbers on Mulberry handbags : 026904, 254571, 026904, 565321 and 262541 although there are many more.
