Hello! Welcome to my new lil’ series which I will be sharing just a few favourite things of the week. I think rather than doing a MAMMOTH monthly post every month, a slightly smaller curation of products may work a little better. It may be every week…or every other depending on what products I get in the post, what’s new and what I’m enjoying! It’s not just beauty, but I’m sure that will be the dominating topic…but maybe a bit of fashion, well-being, days out, new discoveries and little life fun!
So let’s get cracking into the first instalment : 4 /08 /21
Sanctuary Spa Exquisite Bath Salts. Love Sanctuary Spa for their bath and body bits and they are really affordable. This ‘exquisite’ range is pure luxury and smells absolutely divine! They promise you a luxurious, pampering soak and the salts help to smooth and soften skin while promoting better circulation. These positive effects are all thanks to plant extracts and Wheat Germ Oil as well as deliciously scented Rose Oils and pink Himalayan Salt to give you that rosy glow of health.
KEYS Soulcare Reviving Aura Mist. I’m all about facial sprays and mists, especially in the summer. Perfect for skincare boosting, refreshing and extra hydration. This one from Alicia Keys’ ‘KEYS’ range is absolutely beautiful and has the most relaxing and soothing scent of rose.
My Tesco F&F Yellow Dress. Loving my budget dresses this summer. This is problem my favourite purchase this season and an absolute steal from F&F in Tesco! The colour is that perfect egg yolk warm yellow-orange and it is a really nice fit.
Diptyque Eau des Sens : my perfect summer scent! It’s just so fresh and lively with Orange blossom, patchouli and juniper berries to create an exotic perfume that is impossible to forget. This intoxicating scent is worn and adored by both men and women.
Glow Recipe Watermelon Pink Juice moisturiser. I’ve only recently been introduced to this wonderful brand and this is the first product that I have tucked into! So lightweight and perfect for this time of year when your skin yearns for something lighter, quick-absorbing and weightless. It’s oil-free, soothing and cooling on the skin. My skin is drinking it up!
Vichy Capital Soleil UV Age Daily Cream SPF50. THE BEST £20-ish SPF50 I have ever tried, hands down. Honestly if you are struggling to find a great lightweight, invisible SPF50 for your face, this is the absolute one. Straight up there with the best. The formula offers high protection against sun damage and photo-ageing. Niacinamide and Peptide fractions also help to soften the appearance of fine lines and dark spots. The SPF spray is highly breathable, sitting invisibly on the skin with a water-based texture.
Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Exfoliating Pads. Perfect for smoothing and prepping the skin for showing off that summer tan! It helps with those annoying arm bumps and blemishes AND it nourishes and hydrates at the same time. Glowing skin S.O.S! They work in the same way as the infamous face pads but these are a bigger towelette style of application – and contain both alpha and beta hydroxy acids to give your body a really intense glowing next-level exfoliation.
Barry M high Vis Nail Polish. Bright, neon, citrusy colours for the win! Barry M are some of my favourite high street polishes.
Skinny Tan Coconut Water Serum Tanning Drops. I’ve only used these a couple of times but they have given me the most wonderful, natural-looking glow the next day. I’ve just put a couple of drops into my night cream and it’s so quick and easy. It also has added skincare ingredients to make it a little more fancy than just a tanning serum.
L’Oreal Elvive Dream Lengths More Than Shampoo. I’ve been chatting about this on my stories and it seems to have piqued a lot of interest, especially as it’s half price at the moment at both Boots and Superdrug! It’s a mask and shampoo hybrid – looks and feels like a hair mask but foams like a shampoo…..and smells INCREDIBLE.
Dr Dennis Gross Hyaluronic Marine Hydration Serum. One of the best hyaluronic serums I’ve tried and it’s just so good for when your skin is just lacklustre and thirsty and needs a real boost. It is a professional strength formula has time release properties that soak the skin with moisture, calming, smoothing and firming for radiant, youthful looking skin. Hyaluronic acid locks in moisture while evening primrose oil soothes and coconut fruit juice moisturises and plumps skin instantly
I’ve had quite a bad breakout around my chin and next these last few weeks so I’ve been using lots of slicylic serum AND some great masks to cleanse and decongest. The Goldfaden Detox mask is a blemish-busting face mask with a cleansing blend of Zinc Oxide, Sulphur and Camphor helps to draw out impurities and excess oil from the pores. It also soothes any inflammation and achieve a clear, even skin tone for a refreshed, purified finish. LOVE.
You know I am a huge fan of the FAACE masks/ cleansers and one of their newer launches, Dirty, is absolutely incredible cleanser for this time of year when your face is a little loaded with product, oil, sweat and SPF. This gel cleanser cuts through it all and just leaves you feeling super clean and fresh. I use this at least twice a week at the moment!
Don’t forget, if you are grabbing any of these bits from Look Fantastic then do use my 20% off discount code which works against most of these wonderful products!
So that’s my super-quick weekly round-up of bits and bobs I’ve been enjoying this week! I hope you enjoyed, and as always, do leave any questions or comments for me to get back to! Have a lovely rest of the week.
