The Ultimate Radiance Makeup Edit.

It’s always about the glow. It’s always BEEN about that glow.

I have always loved dew, radiance and that fresh-faced look. I have been highlighting since my first Bobbi Brown shimmer brick back in 03′ – yikes. My makeup stash is absolutely brimming with products to cheat radiance… and it’s not just that highlighter ya know.

I love to update, refresh and re-discover my makeup stash so for all you GLOW fans out there : here is my current dew go-to’s.

My base is being stripped back a bit at the mo. I’m over excited by the anticipation of Spring-Summer with all these gorgeous makeup collections so I’m thinking it’s ok to be wearing my tinted moisturisers, BB’s, CC’s and everything in between. My skin happens to be *ok* at the moment so I can just about get away with one of my favourite glow-getters the Stila HD Illuminating Beauty Balm. I have used this for many years and it’s a perfect colour when I am just out of my winter skin phase coming into a bit more of a tan (albeit, fake) and I want a glorious bare-skin sheen on my skin.

A very new addition for me is the Cover FX Custom Enhancer drops in shade blossom which is a really soft pastel pink highlighting liquid. If you haven’t tried these highlighters from Cover FX : They. Are. Insane. They do not hold back on the highlight so be wary when applying so you don’t rock out of your gaff looking like a friggin’ disco ball. I am dabbing this softly on my cheeks using my beloved Beautyblender. This gives the perfect hue especially if you still have a bit of base left on your sponge so it pulls back a little bit on the shimmer.

A perfect multi-tasker is the PIXI Beauty Blush duo in rose gold. It has a lovely blue-pink glowy blush on one side and a golden-toned highlighter on the other. I use 80% blush and 20% highlight to give optimum radiance on my cheeks.  This blusher is one of my favourite makeup products currently! Last up in my radiance edit is an oldie-but-a-goodie : The KIKO Colour Sphere shadows were always a favourite of mine BUT I do believe these have now been replaced by the Water eyeshadows and the colour I have (& love sob!) is very similar to the 200 Champagne. Anything metallic, soft and has a golden hue is perfecting for opening out the eyes.
