We all know Emma Hardie for THE best cleansing balm the world has ever seen. (it really is, I’ve used it since the actual day it was launched), but I want to share with you my new favourite range from Emma Hardie : The Midas Touch range.
The Midas Touch range is all about giving your skin a more radiant and glowing appearance. It just consists of 3 products and using these, alongside the much coveted Moringa Cleansing balm, will ensure your skin is loved, glowing and more youthful.
Midas Touch Revitalising Eye Serum
This is a good all-rounder eye serum that tackles the 3 main concerns : puffiness, dark circles and fine lines. It is a lovely lightweight texture that I love because I can put my makeup straight over it with no rolling, greasiness and my concealer doesn’t settle or separate. This clever eye serum contains a very fancy ‘Beautifeye’ (I see you Emma Hardie with those puns) technology that strengthens and lifts the skin around the delicate eye area, blur away those fine lines and brighten dark circles. It also contains Omegas 3,6 & 9, Ince Inchi, Raspberry Seed oil, Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid.
Midas Touch Face Serum
Now, I know these have been out for quite a while, so I think they were the first product in this collection. This is a hydrating and plumping super serum that is also a great anti-ageing and firming treatment. It is packed with Hyaluronic Acid which plumps and smoothes the skin, giving an instant revitalised look and feel. Edelweiss Stem Cell technology both strengthens and encourages collagen production so will help with the fine lines and wrinkles. This silky-feel serum has a wonderful texture and absorbs really quickly and it also contains Mica which give it a slight pearlescent look which adds a soft-focus and instant radiance to the skin.
This serum comes in x2 15ml vials which at first I thought was a little strange and haven’t seen many brands do this but I actually love it as it is super handy for travel and I’m assuming it will have something to do with keeping the ingredients potent. Also, if you are a product whore like myself and have lots of skincare on the back burner than you can try one of the vials (it will probably last a month) and then open the other one months/ years on if you so fancy.
Midas Touch Revitalising Cream
The final step of this skincare routine is the face cream and this can be used both AM & PM and first things first : it has pretty much my PERFECT texture for a face cream. It feels and looks whipped and luxurious, applies quite buttery but then melts onto the skin and doesn’t feel as heavy as you would imagine. I would almost go as far to say it has a lightweight feel once applied. I really love this cream from using it only a couple of weeks and I have also found it sits really well under my makeup which is always important for me. It contains Hyaluronic Acid, as per the rest of the range, and also Edelweiss Stem Cell extract, Marine & Botanical Extracts which tighten, smooth and lift the skin. Now this cream, has the ‘Emma Hardie scent’ to it, the one we know and love from the cleansing balm. This comes from natural oils of Moringa, Evening Primrose and Rosehip.
All-in-all, a simple 4-step routine (including the balm) that would work for most skin types except possibly the most oily /breakout /acne types and if you are 45+ then maybe you would want a touch more anti-ageing in your regime, but this is a really good all-rounder and who doesn’t want more plump, radiant and smoother skin?!
Have you tried anything from Emma Hardie yet?
