The Beauty Boat Bon Voyage Discovery Box.

Beauty Boat Bon Voyage Discovery box*This post contains a press sample*

The Beauty Boat is a brand new online ‘pop up shop’ which is supposed to give you that duty free travel vibe…..without the travel of course. God I miss those times of picking up all my un-essentials in the Duty Free whilst rushing to my gate.

The team behind the brand have handpicked the best beauty from all over the world and brought it to us for up to 30% off duty free prices. Now i’m interested. I’ve had a quick peruse and spotted brands such as Alpha H, Tan Luxe, Emma Hardie and Pai skincare.

The Beauty Boat have also just launched a beauty box, with the first being the ‘Bon Voyage Discovery Box’ which is a hand-picked and travel-inspired beauty to give you some little tasters of what’s good….and for a great price.

My First impressions…..I actually LOVED the fact the box was so small and compactly packed. Not knowing anything about the box before receiving it I assumed it would be filled with tissue paper and three measly samples…..but this box was PACKED to the brim, and with some great products, brands and generous sizes.

What’s Inside.

A lot of really good products in my opinion. There was a lot of oooohs and arghs as I was unboxing and the products seemed to keep coming.

Isle of Paradise Tanning Water (60ml) I’ve wanted to try this for a long ol’ time! Super pleased to finally get my hands on it to see what it’s all about. This is a medium self-tanning water that can be used on the face and body.

Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask (13g) I’ve seen this brand all over Instagram, intrigued to try it out. This is a 4-in-1 mask that is meant to detox, tighten pores, boosts radiance and invigorates the skin in just 10 minutes.

Sand & Sky Mini Exfoliator (10g) A 5-minute physical exfoliating treatment made with Australian botanicals and pink clay. Yet to try this brand so looking forward to trying both of these products.

Alpha H Balancing Cleanser Rose (30ml) I’ve used this for a while now and I love this rose version! It’s a lovely and delicate cleansing milk, infused with aloe vera and vitamin E. I use this as a gentle cleanse either AM or PM if I don’t have a tonne of makeup on.

Balance Me Vitamin C Serum (7ml) I’ve used this brand before but not this serum. This is a brightening and hydrating serum that is all about evening out the skin tone and helping with pigmentation. A pretty decent size, that’ll give you a good week to try it out.

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara (4ml) I’ve used this before and many, many years ago! This is their original and I think still their best-selling mascara. Eyeko is awesome for all things eye makeup and this is a really generous half-size.

Patchology Flashpatch Rejuvenating Eye Gel (one set) I’ve also used these before but was really happy to see these in there ; they are really great de-puffing, refreshing and hydrating eye patches. Biodegradable.

Inc.redible Roller Baby The Original Rollerball Gloss (7ml) Ok I am 14 again. Who’s seen a rollerball gloss since the 90’s?! Kind loving it though. Hydrating, peachy-scented and gives a high mirror-shine, a really cute little product and I think it’s a full-size ; it’s going in the handbag!

Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream (7.5ml) I’m kinda sad to say I’ve never tried this infamous cult-beauty hit all-purpose cream. Can you believe it?! It’s a really good size and pot and perfect for giving it a good try out and slipping into your handbag, bedside or anywhere else where it’s easy to reach for!

That’s a really good mix and quite a good selection of beauty, I think you will agree?

The Bon Voyage Discovery Box costs £31.50 and has a value of £68.70 so a decent saving of £37. What do you think of this box and the products? I think the star product for me is the Isle of Paradise tanning water.
