Roccabox Beauty Box with The Sunday Girl.

Adrienne from The Sunday Girl has firmly become one of my favourite blogging peeps lately ; she obvs has an amazing blog, comes across as a lovely, inspiring person and has been on the blogging blog for a very long time aka she knows her stuff! I was super excited to receive this months’ Roccabox beauty box in collaboration with her and I was intrigued to see what products she would pick.

About Roccabox : Roccabox is a monthly subscription beauty box which collaborates EVERY month with a different beauty insider to hand select the products. I really like this idea and I don’t know any other boxes who do this. It’s a good chance to get a nosey inside the tastes and minds of beauty bloggers we all know and love. I have never received one of their boxes before and actually I got sent this via Adrienne herself (thanks!) and I honestly didn’t know much about the Roccabox / price etc. After opening it and the way it was packaged etc I thought it would be around the £20-£25 region due to the quality/price of products but I was so surprised when I went onto their website to discover more and the fact that it’s JUST £10 per month!

Let’s see what’s inside this month’s box:

There is only one full-size product in this box and it’s a good ‘un : the Ellis Faas concealer, which is a product I actually used to have and it’s a really, REALLY good concealer. Plus it costs £22 alone. It’s a more full coverage than your touché eclat and has decent pigment and a lovely finish – I can’t wait to get stuck back into this. It comes in shade 02 which is their best seller and safe option for a beauty box but it won’t suit all.

Next up : lots of skincare. There is a generous size of the Burt’s Bees cleansing oil which I have never tried and I do love an oil cleanser so am very intrigued to try it out. There is also a Balance Me Congested Skin Serum which is actually something I have purchased in the past AND I really like it, so will be slathering this on my hormonal breakout chin right now. Then there are the 2 small tubs of skincare including the Evolve Organic Beauty Radiant Glow Mask. This is a brand I have been recently introduced to but am yet to actually get it on my face (it’s in *that* box!) and I remember thinking this was a product I really liked the sound of. It is a brightening mask that contains raw cacao and coconut, vanilla & baobab : I think I may want to eat this! Can’t wait to try it and will be reviewing this along with more products from this brand very soon. The other small tub contains the MOA The Green Balm : the only brand within this box that I have never heard of. It is multi-use balm and you can also use it to cleanse apparently – am looking forward to taking this away as this size is super handy for travel.

Last up is a bit of haircare and the product that I was excited to try the most : the Soap & Glory Rushower Dry Shampoo. I have just seen this about a lot on social and blogs and have been wanting to try it out. I haven’t actually used much at all from S&G although I am always tempted. This is a decent size to give a few good uses before you commit to the full size.

It’s my first ever Roccabox and I really, really like it. I am very tempted to subscribe on a monthly basis as I think it’s such a good deal going on the findings of this box.

Which beauty boxes are your favourite? Have you ever tried Roccabox?
