My favourite month on the year.

My Birthday. 14th. I have plans to go on a fun staycation to celebrate this year.

My Mum’s Birthday. 21st. It makes me reflect and think of wonderful memories.

My Wedding Anniversary. 25th. 3 years this year.

It’s Halloween / Horror Season. It’s a busy month for makeup artists and I love everything about Halloween. Last year I was in ACTUAL SALEM which I can’t top this year but I am going to revel in all the scary movies that will be released this month and next.

The Food. Salads and cold things BE BANISHED. Slow cooked, rich and homely food is my weakness and I can’t wait to get stuck into some new warming recipes.

It’s Nearly Christmas. LOVE.

PARTY SNACKS. If you know….you know.

The Fashion. I’m never more comfortable in cosy knits, deeper shades and weather-beating boots.

The Cosy Evenings. It may be a horror show getting up in the dark (& often going home in the dark) but I love snuggly evenings in, a rich amber candle, every excuse NOT to go out, fleecy socks, Vermont flannel blankets on the sofa & endless crime documentaries on the TV.

This time last year I was in Vermont and it was the *ultimate autumn/ fall* holiday I have ever had. It’s world-famous for people to go and visit New England and watch ‘the leaves turn’ or ‘leaf peeping’ which is when the forests of endless tree’s turn from lush green into burnt oranges, pinks and reds. It’s breath takingly beautiful and something I can’t wait to go back and see. Take a look at my full blog post about that here if ya fancy.
