Makeup Look | Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bon Eyesadow Palette

I have a bit of a (*lot of a) Too Faced makeup addiction @ the moment. I find the quality of the makeup to be really good and the ideas and packaging they come out with is really fun & unique. I have used a couple of the Chocolate bar palettes already and The Too Faced Chocolate Bob Bon Eye Shadow palette is the third in the range and delivers something a little bit different and as usual a great mix of matte vs shimmer colours.

The pressed eyeshadows in this palette are infused with cocoa powder so it smells of yummy chocolate but this doesn’t effect the quality of product at all,
in fact these are beautiful pigmented, soft and easy to blend.

It holds 14 brand new shades along with 2 blocks of highlight shades and the shades are predominantly browns, neutrals, bronzes with pops of candy colour pinks thrown in to mix it up. I don’t often wear pink but I had a little play around and I really liked it on me…mixed with the warmer brown tones it really brought out the blue in my eyes and that’s why I love experimenting with colour @ home – you can find so many combinations and new looks with this one palette! The palette also comes with a booklet to give you inspiration and how-to for makeup looks.

Here I have gone for a slightly different look than my *boring norm* (that consists of coppery/smokey brown) & I used a lot of the pink tones mixed with brown to get a really pretty purple/pink smokey eye. I really love it and this kind of colour combination works well on blue/green eyes to really bring out the colour. I mixed a little bit of matte and shimmer shades and I also kept a lot of the colour/smoke UNDER the lower lash line and kept the eyelid quite subtle so it balances it out nicely. I didn’t even go for my signature feline flick eyeliner! Lots of layers of black mascara and then I tried on my new HUDA Beauty lashes in Samantha to bring some more drama. I think this is definitely more of an evening look for me personally but also would be good for daytime fun/festivals and Sunday fundays.

The main shades I used from the Chocolate Bon Bons palette are : Bordeaux, Dark Truffle, Mocha, Molasses Chip & Totally Fetch is that really bright pink that I would NEVER usually go near but buffed over the top of the brown it turned it the most beautiful shade of purple-pink. I also used this pink shade to warm up the cut crease. Out of the 2 highlight shades (the long strips of colour) I used the matte shade ‘Divinity’ under my brows to give lift and light.

Lips I used my favourite shade of the Too Faced Melted Liquified Lipstick which is Melted Peony ; a gorgeous matte-pink that stays on for hours and just enhances my natural lip colour a few notches.

Have you tried Too Faced makeup? What are your favourite products or wish list? I just saw the peachy stuff in Debenhams last week and I was so tempted by the blusher..
