Happy Birthday Gatineau Skincare!
Gatineau was founded 85 years ago in Paris by visionary beauty therapist Madame Jeanne Gatineau, who wanted to provide groundbreaking and revolutionary skin solutions for everyone. Products that you found in the salon were often not available to the normal consumer and this is what she wanted to change : good quality and effective skincare to have in YOUR bathroom. Gatineau was the FIRST skincare brand to introduce an exfoliator (!) and also alcohol-free cleansers and toners. Madame Jeanne Gatineau was truly a pioneer for the skincare industry.
Gatineau is a skincare brand that combines natural ingredients with cutting-edge biotechnology to provide a range of anti-ageing, premium skincare. It is a skincare line that is rooted from beauty therapy, salons and professional treatments and it is still used in premium beauty salons today. I was lucky enough to be sent a few of their signature products as a celebration of their anniversary and on each product was a label of when it was created, which was so interesting and when you actually see it written down, it kind of puts in perspective how old it really is.
