Liz Earle do some cult classic skincare products with the Instant Boost Skin Tonic definitely being one of them. It’s an aromatic, soothing and refreshing tonic that preps your skin perfectly. What is the difference between the old and new Liz Earle Skin Boost Tonic?
The packaging. So the original was in a classic rectangular bottle and it had a twist up cap to dispense the tonic. The newer version was a cylinder-type bottle with a pop off cap. I think the twist-up is just more easy and convenient plus I personally find it dispenses the tonic a little better so there is less waste! They were/are both 200ml in size so you don’t lose any product.
The formula was also changed a little to try and upgrade it and improve it slightly : not a huge amount, but enough for the loyal Liz Earle fans to take note and want the OG back!

Who Can Use the Liz Earle Skin Boost Tonic?
Literally anybody. It’s suitable for ALL skin types and can slot into any routine pretty easily. I used it in my professional makeup kit for many years and used it to prep so many clients before skincare and makeup. After cleansing:
- Twist up cap.
- Pour a generous amount onto the cotton wool pads.

1.) Saturate your cotton pads in the tonic and layer them onto your face to create an at-home face mask-type-scenario. Perfect for these warmer days when you need a cooling and soothing treat on your skin!
