3 of the best Eye Masks to Revive Tired Eyes & Reduce Puffiness.

Overworked, underpaid, lack of sleep, summertime allergies and that quick drink after work as the weather is so lovely = A great combination for ensuring you wake up with tired, sore, puffy eyes and sometimes your favourite eye cream just won’t do.

Up steps the eye masks/patches. Those things that every instagrammer seems to be using at the moment in various (& often ridiculous thumbs-upping ways). However, these are not a fad beauty thang – A good eye mask is a fabulous treatment to enliven tired eyes, re0hydrate dehydrated skin, reduce puffiness and help ease those hungover peepers.

As masks are so on trend right now, every skincare brand seems to be bringing their versions out onto the shelves, both face & eye so it can be a little confusing to know where to start. Some are full of fillers, fragrance, cheap oils and (crap) that may feel and smell nice but do ZERO for yout actual skin.

I’ve done the hard work for you and tried around 568 of the buggers and here are my top 3:

DHC Revitalising Moisture Strips

Brightening & depuffing to your aid! These are gel patches so they don’t feel wet or sticky but the gels allow the ingredients to gently infuse into your skin in just 20 minutes. They contain Mulberry to brighten the eye area, Aloe Vera Juice to instantly soothe and cool,  Alpha-Arbutin & Peony to combat discolouration,  Olive Leaf Extract to firm and plump.

These are the best of you are on a budget as a pack of 6 treatments costs £8.75. I also sometimes cut the strips in half again to get more use out of them!

Klorane Soothing & Relaxing Eye Patches

I have used these for probably the longest. These are made with key ingredient Cornflower which has been known for centuries for it’s soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. They also contain Arnica that decongests those puffy eye bags/ suitcases that I often have.

Institut Esthederm Lift & Repair Eye Contour Lift Patches

Possibly the most fancy & advanced I have used and 100% the ones with the longest name. These eye patches firm, re-hydrate, lift & brighten the delicate eye area. They work quickly too, in just 5 minutes they will give you results, although I tend to leave them on for as long as possible. The ingredient-packed serum that infuses into your skin from these patches contain a high level of Hyaluronic Acid which plumps instantly, Caffeine to energise, a unique Algae Extract to firm and Apple Fruit Extract to brighten.

Have you used any of these eye patches? What are the best you have tried?
