3 KIKO Products For A Perfect Base.

It’s about time I did a lil’ mention about one of my favourite makeup brand on the high street : KIKO cosmetics is still what I class as an ‘affordable brand’ as it’s the same, if not cheaper than a lot of the drugstore brands, yet the quality is absolutely up there with (and often better than) the department store brands.

They have opened a whopping 48 stores in the UK over the last few years so hopefully a counter is not too far away from you so you can go and swatch, play, and try without too much hassle. It’s on of my favourite makeup brands and I think the quality for the price is absolutely unbeatable. Plus…..they do SO much makeup.

I’ve picked out 3 of my failsafe base products from them that gives me a lovely fresh base and this combination is great if you have combination skin, like a lighter coverage and something quick and easy.

The Matte Face Base is a godsend for a combo-oily skin like mine and it leaves my skin feeling smooth and softened without a heavy silicone-feel which is one thing I really don’t like about primers. (FYI it does have silicone in it though!) It contains micro powders which instantly absorb oil and leave a clean-feeling, matte finish in the skin. If you are after an affordable BB cream then look no firther than the KIKO Daily Protection BB Cream SPF30 (£9.90). IT’S BEAUTIFUL! Perfect for a daytime look and when you simply want a second skin finish, breathable makeup and a dose of SPF protection. When my skin is feeling dull and lacklustre this BB injects it with life and radiance.I wear shade 03 Honey.

The Highlighting Effect Fluid Concealer is the newest KIKO product to my collection and I am super impressed. It’s actually the first concealer I have ever tried from KIKO and I was surprised at how luxe it feels (the packaging) and the formula is really nice, creamy and gives just that right amount of coverage and lift under the eyes. I wear shade 02.

Have you tried any KIKO products? I’m interested to try more foundations from them so send your recs my way!
