March Favourites.

Where did March even go?! That must have been the quickest flash of a month for a long time. I have been pretty busy with both work and social lately so I guess that’s how the time flies. I haven’t had as much time as I would have liked to focus on the blog but I think April I will have a bit more spare time for beauty focus and reviews. In March I was introduced to quite a few totally new brands….such as DHC, DGJ Organics & Trilogy skincare mixed with a few oldies but goodies that have come back into my regular go-to’s.

Trilogy Cream cleanser*

I haven’t used a cream cleanser like this for ages, it’s always oily ones in the PM & gel-based foamers in the AM. This cream cleanser though has changed my view of them and I cannot get enough of this as my PM cleanse. It still contains oil (sweet almond, rosehip, evening primrose, carrot seed) so it easily sweeps away my makeup including mascara and eye makeup gently and effectively. I use it in the same way as my oil balms/cleansers ; straight onto dry skin, massage it all over and then I find it best to remove with a warm Emma Hardie cloth.

DJG Berutti Oil*

This has been a go-to for the last couple of months to tame and hydrate my frizzy, over-processed hair. It’s just a really good serum that I use on my hair once towel-dried and sometimes through dry hair to re-hydrate and smooth. It contains argan oil and berutti oil that are proven to treat the hair.

This Works Energy Bank hand makeover*

This has been in my handbag since I got it at the launch at the beginning of the month. Smells glorious and does wondrous things to my dry, chapped hands. More info here.

Una Brennan Rose Hydrate Peaceful skin night cream*

This is a new addition to the rose range from Una Brennan and I have been using it the last few weeks and am very impressed. It has a lovely light texture than doesn’t feel too greasy on my skin and it’s like an overnight facial in a jar. Contains hyaluronic acid, rosehip, cucumber, marshmallow and shea butter = YUMMY.

Melvita L’Or Bio extraordinary shower*

One of the most gorgeous body washes I have used in a long time. Not only does this smell delicious and luxurious, the blend of 5 precious oils (including Argan, Beruti, Kendi, Inca Inchi & Pracaxi) leave your skin feeling really nourished and soft. Like really. Seriously. I will be replacing this as soon as I run out.

Cover FX illuminator ‘Sunlight’*

This is a finely pressed illuminating powder that is a soft golden tone, great for a subtle highlight as opposed to very glowy shimmer. Not far away from the Hourglass ambient powders if you are familiar with those. I have been using this all over my face after foundation so give a soft-focus, all over radiance.

Makeup Forever Aqua Smoky Lash mascara*

I don’t usually like a waterproof mascara unless for a special occasion or holiday but this has been a bit of a saviour over the last couple of weeks. I have had quite sore, weepy eyes, I’m not sure why, but this has been the only mascara lately that hasn’t irritated my eyes more and it stays on when they get a bit watery. Perfect for the impending hayfever season! Psssss did you know that MUFE is coming to the UK, Debenhams soon?!

DHC Liquid eyeliner*

I’ve only just starting using DHC and this eyeliner is top of the pile so far. Super skinny, super black and easy to get that perfect feline flick. It’s also a water-resistant formula so stays put.

Barry M ‘Sugar Apple’

This is a great colour for spring and an even greater dupe for Essie’s Mint Candy Apple. I’m a huge fan of the Barry M gellish colours as they do such a huge selection and the price is great. See it on here

NARS Dragon Girl

The lip colour I purchased a few weeks ago and have been wearing most days since. I used this in my makeup look here. Arguably one of the best red lip colours in the world.

Delilah Time Frame foundation*

Such a beautiful foundation outside (packaging = swoon) and inside (formula = perfect) full review here.

House of Glamdolls #3 lashes

I think my favourite lashes EVER. Just beautiful, perfect, fluttery and they fit so well onto the yes eye, with an invisible band. Even people who struggle to apply falsies will be able to do a decent job with these, and they cost just £5.

Crownbrush Chubby Eye Pencils*

In shades ‘Copper Rock‘ which is a beautiful coppery gold, and ‘Dark Chocolate‘ which is a deep, matte, smokey brown. These oversized pencils are quick and easy to smudge and work into the eyelid. No brushes needed and fuss-free.

Any of your favourites here or perhaps something you have wanted to try/ on the wishlist?
